"Check in was a breeze, upon arrive they were painting the outside woodwork. This is an old motel, so I did not expect it to be so good but to my surprise it was it was very good. We got an ocean view room, and it was clean had comfortable bed. The shower is small enough for one person, the coffee pot is small makes one cup but there is a 7/11 a short distance down the road. "Our room was on the 3rd floor and we were not told there was not an elevator. The sheets and blankets had holes. One cake of soap was provided. It was the size of a quarter and was for 2 people for 2 days. The mattress was very uncomfortable with a dip in the center. The furniture was very worn with torn chairs. But the insides of the doors don't have slide locks, so we were worried about someone being able to enter if they found out...

"They are wonderful at Mia’s Boutique. We have stayed here twice now, and absolutely love how clean it is and how friendly the staff in the office is. The air conditioning in the room is incredible!!!! If you like to sleep in a little late, you probably won’t be able to, as the cleaning people are extremely loud and the rooms are not exactly sound proof. Beyond that, the rest of the experience at Mia’s is so great that we try to look past the cleaning people being as loud as possible first...
