Owner was very responsive and answered all of my questions. We made a very last minute trip with our three babies and dogs and this suite was perfect! Beautiful balcony with tons of space and the pool on property was such a bonus will be back!!

It was a great visit, parking was a little tight maybe too many cars the first night, but it was not a big deal, other than that, it was a good time and place was good too.

The room we rented at this property was specifically advertised as beach view. Our room, however, was located on the bottom floor and was a dune view. Not very pleased with ambiguous photos and advertisements. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach as well as the continental breakfast and wine and cheese. Located near many excellent restaurants,

Oksana and Mike were wonderful host with communication and information. There was a parking issue when we arrived cause others parked incorrectly and they were quick to get things fixed and had everything all set up for snacks and drinks. We stayed in Suite 4 and had perfect view of the beach and could be on the sand within minutes. The whole house is immaculate and everyone was so kind that we ran into who was also staying. 10/10 because I initially wanted to save some and get a hotel but so glad we spent a little extra to find this place. 100% worth it if you are wanting easy access to the beach, close to everything, clean and family friendly. There is even a restaurant right across the street so perfectly for beach day and then walk over for some margs and Seafood. 100% will look for this place when we come back! Thank you Oksana and Mike!

The location itself was amazing, the house is beautiful. I wish it had been more clear that it is a room in a house that’s shared with multiple other people. There was another guest staying in a room directly across our door, I would consider this more of a hostel experience than a regular bed and breakfast. The breakfast was oatmeal packets, pop tarts, English muffins that were already opened and only had a couple left, a 1/4 of a container of milk and then grapes. The wine was nice but it was one bottle shared with the several other couples/people staying there. It was just really not what I had envisioned based on the other positive reviews I read before I booked. The pool was great, the room was clean. I think it should be better advertised as what it is. For the price… I would not stay again.

They had a crows nest type deck to sit and enjoy the water which was great. We went in March so still chilly. We will opt for 2nd or 3rd floor next time. They had wine and cheese at 4pm and continental breakfast at 8 am-ish. Flies made cheese and crackers part unappealing and it was not even available first night. Continental breakfast was ehhhh. Most options were past sell date. Mike greated us when we got there and showed us around. Super nice. Would have liked to have a list of restaurants open in the area since it was off season and we hadn't been there before. It was cute and looked as being recently updated, but needs a few more tweeks especially first floor where we were. Still would go back.

Great place all around

I can’t say enough great things about this place. I booked three nights originally and ended up staying an extra night, the location is central to most places, stores, restaurants etc. It’s right on the beach, which I love. There were breakfast snacks in the kitchen area every morning and happy hour at 4 every evening. Even with other visitors, we never heard them moving throughout the house so each suite has its privacy. It was clean and all amenities were provided. I would recommend this place to anybody, anytime of year. It was very easy to contact the agency responsible for the place too. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. It was our first time visiting the OBX and we will definitely be back.

They were under construction outside but they did not work while we were there, pool construction not complete yet. Someone had logged off from the television channels, but we did not request anyone come and fix it. I am sure they would have! Great stay!

The bed had a plastic liner on it- which I understand is to protect the mattress. It does create an uncomfortable sleeping status with sweating and limited breathing for the body. Under the website it showed this location having a hot tub and it does not. The tv doesn’t have any channels either.

Clean room. Poor parking set up for a pickup, no way it accommodates more than one. Big inconvenience to back out from any spot, just too short. Only way to have privacy in room 2 was to put one of the extra blankets over the sliding glass door otherwise people can see right into the entire room. The curtain does NOT cover all of this window that is right by the bed!! No place to put suitcases but in the floor!!! At least have a table large enough to accommodate one large suitcase. Lastly, the automatic light that pops on in the middle of the night when you go to the bathroom is ANNOYING!!! I put two band aides over the sensor to stop this but then the stupid thing shuts off automatically when you do need light. Ridiculous. If you do not mind these issues, the location is good and the place is clean.

First, the "oceanfront" label is misleading. You cannot see the ocean from this property — and as every beach traveler knows, we pay extra for oceanfront specifically to *see the ocean*. Neither Expedia nor the property's own listings make this clear. They need to be honest about this in their advertising. Second, privacy and security are real concerns. My suite's sliding door opens essentially straight onto the beach with no barrier — I never felt safe leaving it open to hear the waves, because anything (or anyone) could walk right in. And the backyard swing sits directly in front of the bedroom windows, so guests sitting there look straight into your room. The blinds are the oldest style and don't adequately cover the doors — a fix that would cost under $30. Other reviewers have flagged this too, which makes it frustrating that nothing has been done. The pathway to the beach is a safety hazard. There are only small stairs that are barely visible — you can see where previous guests have carved out their own alternative path to and from the beach. Someone could easily fall and get hurt. They really need better reinforced steps. The furniture throughout needs upgrading, the handful of beach chairs are all in poor condition. Breakfast was a bowl of cereal, yogurt, and an English muffin — and certainly not what I expected from a bed & breakfast. On the positive side: the room itself was clean, and the 4pm wine and cheese is a genuinely nice touch, hence the 3
