No toilet paper was available. 2. No wifi. The hotel wifi did not work and the back up mobile data dongle did not work. 3. Only some of the room electric plugs worked. 4. Uber is sporadic here, drivers reluctant to accept trip 30 minutes from town. The hotel was unable to provide details of other local transport. Next...

"We are a family couple from chennai booked hotel at last minute. We have experience lot of hotel in pondicherry but want to experince a new hotel so first tkme booked with expedia and got offers too. Its inside pondicherry but from the main city 7km and close to paradise beach and pondy ocean park. "Hot water in the shower of the villa was not working. Never knew of hot water issues in an 5 star resort. Horrible service for villa guests. A cup of coffee took an hour to be delivered. Incredible property but horrendous service"

"Good thing about the property was that it was very spacious. 2bhk flat with 2 bathrooms & balcomies. The disappointing thing is that the advertisement on the website doesn't match the real condition of the space. Moreover, the place is poorly maintained with limited facilities provided. "Lovely small hotel on the ocean. Try and get a front room with a balcony and ocean view. It does have a lot of steps to climb to the reception in the rooms. All areas were spotlessly clean and the hotel was very quiet. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is situated just inside White Town / French quarter and it was easy to walk to all the sites. "

"A perfectly charming hotel with the friendliest, most thoughtful staff of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We were there five nights in a spacious room with beautiful appointments. The pool is perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. The front desk arranged a sailboat cruise for us and yoga every morning on the roof at 6:30 AM. I can’t wait to come back to this dreamy place a block from the ocean. "

"A beautiful character building with a lot of charm. Choosing a balcony suite at the front is totally worth it. The hotel staff were neither friendly nor rude but just came across as indifferent but not what I’m used to when dealing with hospitality employees. But then mostly everyone I interacted in Pondicherry seemed like that so it must be a regional thing. There was no daily housekeeping which also seemed odd. Despite these things, I would stay here again solely for the charm of the building...
