"What a Big Disappointment— this Novotel located in central Nice needs RENOVATION!!! The entire facility looks really old with Old carpet with stains. This place stinks— especially whenever I used faucet the sewage smell would come up from drain! This location really changed my perception about consistency of quality of Novotel and will definitely hinder my decision on booking future stays at Novotel. "The hotel entrance and lobby was a great first impression after a long travel day. There was a driveway off the busy main road to unload, the lobby was open, natural light, large space, and multiple comfortable seating areas. The front desk staff were pleasant and very helpful. "The room was spotless. We walk barefoot and not a speck of dirt was to be found. The staff were ever so accommodating and helpful and kind. The breakfast was lovely and yes the balcony was useful for drying clothes that got drenched because it was so hot as well as a lovely place to sunbathe if you liked doing that."

"Plus: staff was super helpful and lovely, and the breakfast was good, location is good (easy walk to Nice Riquer station and to the liveliest parts of the town). Minuses: the doors to the rooms had scratches on them, the fire alarm went off twice during the night (false alarm, I assume this is a rare occurence), everything feels a bit flimsy. Maybe a more fun vibe if you're younger and are into partying."
