"We were completely blown away by the Woodroyd Estate! The winding road to the house transported us to another world. The house is spacious and wonderful to explore. Likewise, the grounds were very entertaining to saunter around. It will definitely be the most memorable home we stayed at during our three week vacation. "

"This place was amazing! We had been quite busy travelling around and seeing the sights of NZ and really needed a little time to recharge and relax and this was the perfect place to do it! Such a pretty cottage with everything we needed. Loved sitting outside listening to the birds and enjoying the seclusion. Great place and the host was so helpful and considerate. "Don't be discouraged by the outside appearance of this gem of a place. As soon as you enter you are presented with a spacious, verging on opulent living space. Everything was as listed. Beautifully maintained and clean, we had a cosy couple of nights during some petty awful weather. "We booked the house for four nights. Due to arriving at the house late afternoon we had no option but to stay at the house on the first night. We contacted the owner the following morning to advise home that the property was not fit for letting and cancelled the remaining three days.
