"The home was a nice place for our stay while visiting our son for his graduation from UC Davis. We also wanted to visit lake tahoe while here. The home was clean and located in a quite location. Has a nice view of the hills nearby and we saw deer, rabbits, quail , and plenty of turkeys every day."

"We had a really nice stay in Pollock Pines. The house was clean with plenty of beds. The kitchen was very large and completely stocked for all our needs. We even made muffins for breakfast! I contacted the host to clarify check in details and directions before we left, and we had no problems. Kathleen gave us very detailed directions, and she always answered my messages promptly. We had a great time visiting with family!"

"We’re from Los Angeles and didn’t know much about Placerville before our visit, but we were pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of activities nearby, and we enjoyed every single one. The house was spotless, and the owner was incredibly friendly. It was also conveniently close to downtown and local attractions.The only thing the house needs is a better WiFi. It’s super slow during our stay."

"This was an excellent location for a retreat. It was expansive with plenty of places to gather and to be alone. There were plenty of large bedrooms and private bathrooms. The kitchen was perfect for group meal preparation. The game room was a fun space to turn off the work and enjoy some recreation."

"Hubby didn't like how the shower in the master bedroom didn't heat quickly as it should. Hot tub is more like a warm tub, but a GREAT hottub. 2 Bucket seat style areas and 1 that gets your hips real good with the pressure. Really good tub! Heat not super hot tho. The house was almost 90 degrees when we checked in. Itd be nice if it was programmed to be cool if the owner has control over that. BUT that is a big ask lol! I loved the place. "The house was clean. Everything was comfortable. I loved having the ability to set the temperature in every single room. In our case, we had all sisters at different stages of their life so believe me when I say we all want the temperature at a different setting, so it was great. Everything was fully stocked and we were in need of nothing except for groceries. We really loved the backyard and all the cushions being secured in a safe drive place was very nice touch. "This was an excellent choice for a VRBO. Many members (younger) of our family were camping at Sly Park. The "older" relatives really enjoy being with them, however, want a home and cozy bed at night-- worked out perfect. "Our stay was very nice. Phil and Angela were helpful and accommodating. The house was spacious and inviting with a fantastic dining room and kitchen. "House is beautiful, woodsy area, quiet and peaceful.Eight adults and two kids. There was plenty of room. Well stocked with kid stuff (dishes etc). There’s a great outdoor area, I wish we’d had more time to enjoy. The home is comfortable and no one complained about their bed. Score! The game room has tons of games, it’s own heater/ac and foosball table, ping pong table. No reason to be bored!! Definitely a great choice for anyone looking to get away!! "
