"We stayed for 5 nights. The house is lovely, clean, very well equipped. There are thoughtful additions like coolers and ice packs, beach towels, aloe for sunburn! The location is quiet and furnished tastefully, beds also v comfortable. We loved driving all over and seeing the island. If you don’t like driving a lot there isn’t much activity in the immediate neighborhood. "

"A beautiful location on the big island; peaceful and relaxing. Well decorated and comfortable furnishings. Kitchen is well supplied with cooking utensils, etc. All that you need for a great stay. Very responsive property manager. Well located to great places on the island for more active activities such as hiking, sight seeing, horseback riding. All in all a great find! "

If you want a home away from the tourists you are right. Awaiting luxury and quietness, go in a hotel. It’s a normal neighborhood with chicken, dogs and everything else.
