Welcome to the Surf Bungalow just steps away from stunning Silver Strand Beach. Kick back and enjoy the best of Ventura County beach living in this chic bungalow fully equipped with a jetted hot tub and outdoor shower. Relax in our modern chic living room and two spacious bedrooms (each complete with their own flat screen TVs) or spend an afternoon in the sun-drenched backyard. Start the morning in our fully stocked kitchen, complete with a coffee bar.

The Surf Bungalow is just steps away from one of the best hidden gems and a local favorite — Silver Strand Beach. Enjoy world class surf, kayaking, fishing, boogie boarding and white sandy beaches right at your doorstep! This 1,000 ft2 space with a spacious, sun-drenched backyard has been thoughtfully updated and decorated with serene ocean / surf vibes in mind, to help you reset and enjoy your stay by the sand.

// The Living Room

Our bright and modern living room is equipped with a flat screen TV, sectional and seating area.

// The Kitchen

The kitchen is fully stocked and has a coffee/tea bar with brand new Keurig machine, drip coffee and tea options - ready for you to enjoy. The kitchen has a cozy corner-nook with a custom padded bench and plenty of seating.

// The Backyard

The kitchen door leads right out to the spacious backyard, with a covered outdoor patio, a jacuzzi and even an outdoor shower with hot water to rinse off when you come back from the beach!

Feel free to borrow our surfboard and two boogie boards - we love for guests to take them down to the beach. There’s a stackable washer and dryer just outside the kitchen door.

There are two bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom has a king sized bed, and the second bedroom has a queen sized bed.

Both rooms have their own flat-screen smart TVs that are ready for easy access to your favorite apps (just bring your account) to Netflix, Hulu, Apple Tv, Prime etc.

// Pets

Will consider one dog with an additional pet fee.

// Special notes

- Fireplace cannot be used and is meant for decoration only.

Adorable beach cottage just a few houses away from the beach. Charming and cozy. The backyard was nice with lights and a table, perfect for a glass of wine. Would love to go back.

Great location!

We had a nice stay at this home. It was quiet, near the beach, and had a nice backyard with hot tub. Communication with the host was easy— I was apprehensive because I saw the most recent review on another booking site at the time that said the kitchen was not well stocked. I reached out to the host prior to discuss & they said this was the first they were hearing of it (maybe they don’t read their reviews?). The impression they gave was that we should have everything we need. Ultimately, we booked, and when the host followed up to see how our stay was going I was very transparent that the kitchen doesn’t meet even the bare minimum of supplies I anticipate in a vacation home (zero frying pans provided for example). Hopefully they rectify this for future guests, otherwise I would not book again or recommend.

Just Perfect!!

We stayed 3 nights to visit family for an 80th birthday! This rental was perfect! Gives you beach vibes- Beautiful and very clean and organized. Quiet neighborhood and beach is literally 4/5 houses down! The Oxnard area gave me a feeling of laid back friendly welcoming neighbors. The owner's were easy to contact and responsive.

Cutest Cottage!

Cute, clean, 3-min walk to the beach, hot tub, cute areas to sit and relax… amazing communication with hosts!!! Will be back and highly recommend!!!!

Beach Bungalow

Perfect location to access beach. Great two bedroom, living space and kitchen. Darling back area with hot tub. Owners had the place nicely decorated and well stocked with need kitchen items. Glad we booked!!

Perfect stay

The beautiful beach is super close (as described) with easy access. Parking right out front, laundry was necessary as we did go through towels! The home was clean, cozy and welcoming. Communication with the host was stellar. Beds were cozy, as was the couch! It has a pull out bed but we didn’t use it. Lots of extra blankets but we had access to the heat to keep it just right. We loved the hot tub, boogie boards and lovely back garden sitting area. Great stay, would totally come again.
