"This was exactly what we were looking for - a little house on water with a hot tub - and even more! It was a perfect home for the weekend, the views of the lake were beautiful. Very clean, comfortable and warm with everything we needed. Thank you for having us! "

"I feel honored to have stayed at this lovely home. The home is decorated impeccably but also comfortably. We spent most of our time in the well-equipped kitchen area with adjacent sitting/television room when local family came to visit. Every convenience was provided for; I didn't miss a thing from home! "This is a great little cottage on a very small lake. It was perfect. It's bigger than what you see in the pictures and very well kept. It is right down on the water, although it was ice while were there. LOL It was still perfect for a quiet get away. "

"My son was getting married. My husband grandkids myself and friends stayed to be close by. It was perfect. Very spacious clean and peaceful! Would have loved more time to enjoy the house! "

"I wish I could keep this place a secret but it seems the secret is out. The Barnhouse is exactly as described and pictured, and it is so close to Colgate. It was perfect for our small family's short stay. Will and Wendy provide everything you need to make it feel like a home away from home. 10/10"

"While it was a cold and damp memorial day weekend the home was nice and cozy. The house offers amazing views of the river and it was so relaxing. The property was extremely private which was exactly what we were looking for. We had a mishap while cooking at the house and Bob and Amy were very understanding that accidents sometimes happens. "

"We stayed here during week 11 of the Cooperstown All Star Village tournament. It’s about 25 minutes away but it is an easy drive and the peaceful, quiet, country setting was amazing. Check in was seemless and the house was as picturesd"

"The house was beautiful and even bigger than we expected. The grounds around the house (sheltered patio, fire pit, pool, etc.) were a delightful addition to our group’s stay as well. The host was very nice and made the check in and check out process very easy. The only issue we faced was that the house got very warm as the house is not air conditioned, though there were a few floor AC units and fans available. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future."
