Fantastic Stay

We had a fantastic stay. The house was beautiful and gave us plenty of room to spread out. We lobed having the pool in the backyard and the resort pool was only a 5 minute walk. Would stay again!

Great stay overall! The house was as pictured and the clubhouse amenities were so much fun! There were plenty of dishes for us all and sitting room outside. There were always dead mini black ants in the pool that we kept having to skim out of the pool and on the last day we did find 2 cockroaches upstairs, but other than that the house felt clean.

Exceeded expectations

I don’t think I could’ve chosen a better property for our family and friends during Thanksgiving! This spacious house was just a short drive to Disney theme parks, convenience stores, restaurants ...you name it! We’ll definitely be back!

Could not get response from Mangement

The dish washer leak and the dryer takes for ever to dry but it is a beautiful place and nice and clean decorated nicely spacious I will return and need more tv in the rooms

Bachelorette weekend

We stayed with some friends and family from out of town. The property was clean and so fun. We went to the lazy river every day. There is a nice little bar over by the lazy river and water slides. We stayed in all weekend and this was a great house for that. Plenty of space for everyone. The beds were all comfy. We would stay there again!

My first house rental

My family and i enjoyed our stay immensely ! I would definitely rent again. The only negative input i have is, my name wasn't on the check in list. This was a little disappointing. Otherwise, everything else went well.

Great home with very basic amenities in the home

The home was great. there were no extras in the home. 1 roll of tp, 1 trash bag, one laundry pod, 1 dishwasher pod. We thought they were stingy with basic amenities.

Family Fun Time

My family stayed at this lovely house in October. We had all age groups. There were so many bedrooms and enough bathrooms so there was never an issue. The kids and the adults loved the pool and it was gated so we didn’t have to worry about the little ones. The house was located near all the restaurants and shopping as well as being close to the parks. One of the bedrooms was locked when we arrived. We called the office and it was resolved right away. When we opened the door we all in awe of the Harry Potter enormous bedroom. The kids loved it. I have only one issue. The master bedroom and the Harry Potter bedroom the bedding didn’t feel clean. It may have been the fabric but I was uncomfortable sleeping in the bed. Overall is was a good experience and we all want to come back this summer.

Relaxing week in Kissimmee

The house and community was so nice. There wasn’t much clarification before arrival that there’s two gates and you’re supposed to check in the front gate. There’s also a back gate that doesn’t close and for the first day we mistook that as the proper entrance. The trash pick up isn’t actually every day as it says but it’s still pretty frequent. The house was super clean and nice. We did find some broken glass our first day in and around the pool but we don’t fault the renters for that obviously they had a tenant that didn’t tell them glass broke. Just maybe be careful going shoeless in the porch area. It was a little difficult to get in contact with the renter until closer to our dates and they reached out via text. Would definitely use this rental again.

Decent property.

Overall a good house and location for going to Disney. Communicating with the owner was hard. They do not communicate through this app or email. I got a phone number a few days before checking in where they apparently do all of their communicating through. So, to answer the questions I never got answered for others. There were 2 high chairs, 4 pack n plays (which was really nice to have a set up up stairs and down stairs for the baby). There’s two parking spot in the driveway and then a few shared spots across the street. Couple things I think are useful to know as well. The Harry Potter room is super cool looking but there’s no private bathroom and the closest bathroom is the shared pool bathroom. So, even though it’s a cool room, no one wanted to stay in it. There’s three TVs in the house - 1 upstairs in the common area, 1 in the main living room on the first floor and one in the master bedroom upstairs. The pool is on the north side of the house so it doesn’t get a lot of sun. We stayed in Jan so the heater didn’t work that well and it never went above 75. The community playground and pool area was a nice bonus!

Great location, horrible communication

Location was perfect. House was decent. Management company was unreachable and non responsive. The only unexpected lacking amenity was washcloths. There were 2 towels on every bed and 1 hand towel in every bathroom but we had to go to Walmart and purchase our own washcloths as there were ZERO! I would have expected a towel set for each person at the least. We paid to have the hot tub heated and it was not hot until our 3rd night and cold again our last night so paid for 5 nights and only got 2! The first night we were able to reach a person who sent out pool guy. He couldn’t fix the problem and was supposed to contact someone else. Never got and update after that. My husband ended up downloading manual and trying to resolve it hisself. We called the property managers multiple times and messaged them but other than lucking out the first night there was no response to any of the messages we left. Dishwasher did not work! Again not able to reach anyone to resolve this problem. Left dirty dishes loaded but not clean due to this. Luckily we weren’t there much and everything fit into one load. I would probably avoid DePaula properties in the future even though this property was perfect for our stay.

Good house. Needs a few things.

Beautiful big house. Nice neighbor hood and pool amenities. Be prepared for horrible cell phone coverage in the entire area. The wifi barely did the job. It is a rental neighborhood so lots of other large loud groups renting the surrounding houses. Pool was kinda dirty from previous renters.

Family vacation done right

The listing and location were perfect for our 10 person/10 nights stay. We are regulars at this resort location but this was our first stay at this property. The management team responded within a reasonable timeframe regarding a couple of minor questions and concerns. The pool heat and hot tub temps at 95 and 102 were perfect for us. The starter toiletries and dish detergents were as expected. The only recommendation I have is to add a towel set per person and additional tvs in the bedrooms. Also, the Wi-Fi doesn’t work well so I’d recommend increasing speed to account for work from home renters. Aside from those, this property delivered as expected and I would recommend it to friends and family.

Great property

Our large group of over 10 adults and children loved this house. It was very clean, large/spacious, and in a quiet area. The community waterpark was great as well and the kids loved it. My advice is to stop at walmart before checking in and buy some extra toilet paper as each bathroom only gets like half a roll. Also buy paper towels because there are no hand towels in the kitchen. It was a short 15 minute drive to disneyworld, and there are a lot of good restaurants near by. The rental company was very prompt in responding to my questions while we were there.

Maintenance Issues Abound

Pool and Spa - we paid for heating, but neither the pool nor the spa were heated for our entire vacation. When we arrived, the water level in the pool was too low (it was below the skimmer ... we filled it with a garden hose). The valves were set improperly. The spa emptied completely or partially every night. Dishwasher - it was inoperative when we checked-in. A maintenance tech did a temporary fix, but told us we would need to stay in the house while the dishwasher was running to make sure it didn't leak . He told us he'd be back the following work day to do the proper repair (replace a part); he never returned. Hot Water at kitchen sink. It was not working when we checked in. The maintenance tech got it to work. Fire Alarms - multiple incidents of chirping (batteries out of power) during the evening waking us up. The first incident was during our first night stay. The fix was to replace the battery in one alarm. The next day, the same thing occurred with another fire alarm. BBQ Grill - included in the rental but the gas ran out on our second use. When I called the property manager, they told me I could pick up a propane tank at a local 7-Eleven. Garbage - the instructions for garbage were incorrect. There was no bin to put garbage bags. I called the property manager, no answer. They texted me the following: "The HOA removed the bins because they are changing trash companies. They said in the meantime you can place the bagged trash outside of the front door and they will pick it up daily" Problem was they didn't pick up trash daily ... the full garbage bags sat outside the front door in the Florida sun for days. There are gross stains on the front door step due to garbage sitting there for days. It's unsightly and it smells. Property Management - Very Poor. I should have known: I tried to make a reservation on De Paula Vacation's website, but it didn't work. I tried calling them, no answer. During our vacation, we had a lot of maintenance issues. I called their Emergency Number, but they didn't answer. Instead, they have an automatic text response: Thank you for your call. We cannot answer right now. Please respond here and let us know how we can assist you. - De Paula Vacations" I called and texted every day of our vacation. Response time and attentiveness were poor. Maintenance techs were not skilled; the pool tech didn't know how to repair the pool. The Management company stopped communicating with us.

Family Spring Break Vacation

The door code given did not include all the characters to get us in. The property sent me the rest of the code & I we got in. There was laundry left in the washer, only (3) wash clothes in the house, no extra trash bags, no lotion, and no laundry products. The listing details. were not accurate. When I reached out to the property, no one responded.

Very nice stay!

We stayed here from a Wednesday thru Sunday. House is immaculate! The pool was great and the house is very nice. We only had 6 people stay, so we had plenty of room. We all loved the house. We get away to Florida every March and we would definitely come back again. The things we didn't like: We had to notify the owners 3 days in advance if we wanted to have the pool heated (no problem). The problem was that I left several text messages and voice mails and no one called or texted me back to tell me that they got my message that we wanted the pool heated. The only way I knew they got my request was when I saw the charge on my AMEX for the pool to be heated. Every other place we have rented was great about replying to voicemails and texts. There were no dish towels in the kitchen and the 'starter pack' for garbage bags was only enough to cover a two days worth. And we were disappointed that there were no noodles or blow up rafts to use in the pool. Other than those things, we had a great time and I would highly recommend this house!
