The space

The property is thoughtfully designed across two adjoining living spaces, making it ideal for families, larger groups, or couples travelling together who appreciate having room to spread out while still enjoying a shared holiday experience.

The original home features two bedrooms, along with an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, highlighted by a magnificent hardwood timber ceiling. The living area has a cosy cabin feel, complete with a free-standing wood heater backed by a beautiful river stone wall. The blackwood timber kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need during your stay, including a stainless-steel oven and cooktop, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, crockery, cutlery and an abundance of cooking utensils.

Adjoining the main house is a newer wing that significantly expands the living space. This modern addition includes two additional bedrooms, a bathroom, and a light-filled second living area. With large windows and doors opening directly onto the expansive deck, this space is designed to take full advantage of the spectacular views across Spring Bay to Maria Island.

The generous deck seamlessly connects the accommodation spaces and provides the perfect setting for outdoor dining, entertaining, or simply relaxing while enjoying the ever-changing coastal scenery. Whether you're watching the sunrise over Maria Island or unwinding after a day exploring Tasmania's stunning East Coast, the views are truly unforgettable.

The property comfortably accommodates up to eight guests across four bedrooms. The bedrooms are generously sized and feature beautiful Tasmanian timber elements throughout. The master bedroom enjoys stunning views across Spring Bay, while the remaining bedrooms provide comfortable accommodation for family groups and friends.

With two separate living areas and two bathrooms, the property offers plenty of space and privacy for everyone to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Both bathrooms are spacious and thoughtfully appointed, incorporating quality finishes and Tasmanian timber features. Generous showers provide a refreshing retreat after a day of beach hopping, bushwalking or exploring the many attractions of Tasmania's East Coast.

The laundry is fully equipped with a washing machine, dryer and wash trough, all included for your convenience during your stay.

All linen and towels are supplied, with additional linen available on request.

The outdoor rockpool shower is an absolute treat for the senses after a swim at one of the many nearby beaches. Both hot and cold water cascade from a large overhead fixture hidden amongst the trees, creating a unique and refreshing outdoor experience.

Exploring the grounds, you'll also discover a secluded BBQ and campfire area nestled amongst the pine trees, perfect for gathering with family and friends, cooking outdoors, or toasting marshmallows under the stars.

The property offers ample off-street parking, with plenty of room for boats, trailers and multiple vehicles.

The laundry is fully equipped with a washing machine, dryer and wash trough all-inclusive of your stay.

-To explore Swansea, Bicheno, Coles Bay and the Freycinet Peninsula are an easy drive.

Guest access
Guests have private access to the existing house. There is an extension space that is currently unavailable. There is a storage shed that is unavailable to guests. Guests have full access to the outdoor areas, parking spaces and driveways. Guests will have access to wood for the inside heater and sticks for the fire pot and pizza oven.
Guest key access is through a lock-box system and the code will be sms messaged through to the guest prior to arrival.

The property is pet friendly however we appreciate you cleaning up after your pets and respecting the neighbours who are both fulltime residents
