"Location was everything for us. We needed a hotel that was reasonably close to our conference, and Hotel Eldon got the job done. It was priced well for the location. We had a slight issue with cleanliness of one of our rooms, but the staff took care of it. A couple of notes: double check the breakfast times with the front desk. It was advertised to start at 7:00, but didn’t start until 8:00 which left us scrambling a bit for coffee.
I would not be willing to stay further out from my needed...

"Everything was great! Only reason for 4 stars on cleanliness was that the end table in the livingroom and nightstand in bedroom did not appear to have been wiped down. There was something sticky on them. And a minor oversight (becuase this should have been done by prior guest) was that the coffee pot still had a used coffee filter with grounds in it. But the pot itself was washed clean.Host was very quick to respond when texted. Very cozy place and quiet community.Maybe make a note to...

"Was greeted with an early check-in, which worked out perfectly since I arrived in D.C. early. The kitchenette in the room is great for anyone on a budget, with a Trader Joe’s just a 5-minute walk away. Be sure to scan the QR code in the room to see what extra amenities are available; I didn’t realize they had dish drying racks until I scanned it!
The walls are a bit on the thin side, so light sleepers might get woken up. During my first two nights, a loud group on my floor woke me around 1:00...

"This rental space is well-maintained with an upgraded bathroom and a luxuriously large bed for sleeping. I did not try out the sleeper sofas but they appeared to be in fine condition. There is a small hotel-size fridge and microwave, with basic utensils for travelers who plan to eat most meals elsewhere, or microwave meals.
Do pay attention to the details of additional expenses. The base advertised cost doesn't cover cleaning and parking fees,"
