"Beautiful property. Very central location. Lovely, romantic courtyard. We did not have a top sheet on our bed during our stay, thought I asked for one, only a duvet. But it was too warm to use a blanket or sheet anyway! Hospitable staff."

"The hotel looks small from photos, but once you get inside and see everything, you will get a new insight on the size. The rooms were very nice, clean, easily accessible. most rooms do not have windows, it can be weird when you're wondering about the weather outside. However, without windows, the rooms stay cooler, which is a plus, during summer temps. The front desk staff was amazing, very helpful, friendly, and talkative. I will definitely stay at the French Market Inn, for my next visit....

"My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and I have to say, it was such a great experience! The look and feel of this hotel is so New Orleans, from the antique-ish furniture and look of the rooms, to the fountains, pool, and vegetation. The staff was super nice and attentive, especially the cats! Yes, there are three office cats! It’s conveniently located a few steps off bourbon Street and within walking distance of the French market. Five stars all the way from me. Hope you enjoy as well!"

Valet parking only, so be prepared to pay a daily parking fee if you’re driving there. Onsite restaurant was very good. $95 per person for a 4 course meal, if you’d like that option. "Would love it if hotel would provide plasticware (spoons, forks, knife packet) near microwave on closed in patio. Would also love napkins and maybe hot water container would be great next to coffee. Staff very helpful (Marisol, Becky) and met Brian, the bartender. All helpful and welcoming. Will return. (We came for years before Covid, where there was the kitchen, breakfast and lunch. Hopeful that the cafe will return.)"

"It was okay. I understand we were there during Mardi Gras and it is the heart of things but we could literally hear every person walking past tge hotel. Its dated, as it should be given the history. Waking up to find actor Shia LaBeof being arrested outside of our room was unnerving. I don't think its a hotel anyone over the age of 40 should patronize."
