"Very little traffic and very quiet beach. It was early in the year before tourist season but very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again. House was very clean. "

"This condo met all our expectations for the long weekend of exploring the area for the first time. It is cute, clean, comfortable and tucked away in the trees with a secluded view from the deck. We relaxed there in the evenings and slept great. Communication exceeded our expectations! We did not utilize the kitchen but it looked well stocked. "

"House was nice/clean/spacious. Property managers very attentive. A little pricey for accommodations. No A/C....luckily we were there before it got hot. Overall, it is a pretty nice place to stay."

"A very cozy little cabin! Perfect size for two or small family. Very accommodating hosts. Wonderful weather! Great place to relax; lovely fire pit outdoors. Kitchenware was well stocked. Close to beach and forest for adventuring. Well utilized space. We would very much enjoy returning!!"

"Beautifully appointed studio style condo in the woods, but close to Bayfield (6 minute drive). Communication from the owner (Lisa) was outstanding. Very comfortable bed and the condo has more than enough room for 2 people. Would definitely stay here again if we make a return visit to Bayfield!"

"Staying on the boat was the best adventure. It was easy walking distance to downtown Bayfield. That weekend was Bayfest and it was so much fun. Shopping, food and music. Saturday night there was a big storm, boat rocking back and forth. Still sleep well."

"Nice condo. Clean. Well appointed. Convenient to Bayfield. Photos of marina and pool misleading, as they are not by the unit. A sign is needed by the trail - we looked for it and didn’t find it until someone mowed, right before we left. Overall nice, quiet area. "

"Our family of 4 came from Minneapolis for a few days and Colleen‘a place was just perfect! The view was just amazing and the location couldn’t be better! The Condo was exactly as described. It was just fantastic. Can’t wait to stay here again!"

"We stayed for 2 nights and the unit was exactly as listed. The check in was smooth and we had no issues with the unit. Excellent location made walking to and around the downtown area very easy."

"Location was excellent, bedrooms were very large and nice sized bathroom. The only downside was that we could distinctly hear the voices of those below us. This did not occur late at night or early morning."

"We had a wonderful time here at Hidden Cove. The owner was great to work with, the home had a cabin feel, very clean, it has just about everything you would need to feel at home. The yard and views are absolutely beautiful. Our favorite part was the natural fireplace, which we used every night while unwinding from the day. We would definitely come back to stay! "

"Gooseberry Cottage is set back in the birch and pine forest on the coast of Madeline Island. It's very peaceful, charming and comfortable. I was there to visit with my best friend from grade school and her significant other and meet other friends and family staying at other cabins on Madeline Island. We buried my parents' ashes in Greenwood Cemetery after a small and convivial service celebrating my mother's life as she died last year. We also walked the beach, visited the cliffs at Big Bay...

"As expected. Perfect size for two, kitchen well stocked with utensils, dishes, gadgets. Incredibly clean. Easy parking and easy to get to local attractions by car. Highly recommend. Had an issue (no fault of host) and it was addressed promptly."

"We enjoyed sitting around the fire and viewing the beautiful woods that this property sat on. Our grandkids loved all the space to run around and explore. We could watch the deer meander through the woods while we drink our coffee through the kitchen windows. Very secluded and peaceful. The house was adequate for our stay."

"We loved our stay! We had everything we needed for a few days in the Bayfield area. It was nice to be able to walk to pretty much anything we wanted to in town. The nature trail near by was a bonus. The house was clean and the bedroom was spacious. Would definitely recommend!"
