"This is a great place for a long weekend stay. The hosts were very gracious. The location is very convenient to the Variety Store and 1718. The whole house water filtration system is impressive and probably some of the cleanest water you will get anywhere. Would definitely come back. "

"Host was quick to respond to my user error in working the air conditioning units. The house was spotless. My son left his retainer and they contacted us and are mailing them to us. We will stay here again. The only thing to keep in mind is that the rain runs off the roof right on to the pathway into the house. Only a slight inconvenience."

"My husband and I had such a relaxing stay at the charming Sound House. Views of the water, comfortable quarters, everything we needed to ease in and relax!"

"Great place to relax. The back porch is private, shaded and a perfect place to chill. The owner was easy to work with and very responsive. The house is private, but close to everything. You can walk to shops and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked. "

"The VRBO rating app was glitchy during this review. Everything sb 5 stars! Great location, We did a fair bit of cooking, the kitchen was super- loved that it had a gas range! It’s a special place!"

"We loved this cottage hidden behind island shrubs and trees. Both the front and back decks were peacefully enjoyed. The entire property is gated and very private, although close to the village. Kitchen was well equipped. Furniture was comfortable. Very clean and tidy. Outside shower was a dream. Amazingly quiet except for the sound of birds. The only downside was the low toilet as I’ve just had knee replacement. The TV in the living room has sound/volumn issues. Minor cons, considering the...
