Our beautiful local beaches including family-favourite, Ocean Grove Main Beach for swimming, surfing, and walking and is patrolled in summer months. Reefs and 13th Beach offer waves for advanced surfers.
The Barwon River caters to family fishing, boating, SUPing, kayaking.
There are plenty of cafes and restaurants locally, with many more restaurants, wineries and breweries around the region.
Adventure Park is also a great day out with the kids!

Getting Around:
Sunny Daze Haven is located in the Blue Water’s Lake precinct, close to the lakeside trail. You can walk or ride your bikes around the lake and see the ducks, birds and pelicans that call this place home. Walk to The Groove café for your morning coffee, and onward to the Barwon River walking trails. A short 5 minute drive to the main shopping precinct (The Terrace), and Ocean Grove beach. Shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets can be found in three distinct shopping areas: The Terrace (main street), Kingston Village or Ocean Grove Marketplace.

Hammering and chromecasts.

The property its self was great, modern, tidy and the facilities were perfect. However, the internet and chromecast didnt work as the wifi connection was via a sim card. Not a huge peoblem, but we couldn't watch anything via the chromecast. We decided to use the kitchen to cook dinner on the second night the stove was huge and the available pots and pans were ample. However, they needed to be cleaned thoroughly before use as they were very dirty. The beds were super soft and relaxing, and the showers were hot! The pool and spa were amazing! However, the neighbour was building something in his backyeard, so for the 2 days all we heard was hammering, drilling a sawing. Not ideal when its your anniversary.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

What a treat! While we enjoyed our activities and the beautiful beaches of ocean grove, its fair to say the house was its own highlight. The spa in particular was an amazing experience we thoroughly enjoyed. All the amentities were great and property owner communication was prompt - when we needed help with something they came by and were lovely and resolved it for us quickly. Thank you for the lovely stay!
