"We were really impressed with our stay at Harpers Steakhouse in Haslemere. Looking for a reasonably priced hotel for a one-night stay, we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The room was comfortable, air-conditioned (a real plus on a rare hot evening), with a good bed, quality sheets, and complimentary water, a small touch I always appreciate. Dinner was great also. "A beautiful pub and inn with a gorgeous beer garden next to the sounds of a babbling brook. The room was full of character and spacious enough for the three of us, but as it is an old building, we could hear the other guests walking and talking the floor above us. The pub was nice for dinner. Thanks!"

"Lovely old hotel with beautiful rooms in a pretty area. Good cooked breakfasts but limited continental choice. Our room wasn't serviced despite asking twice for this to happen. Maybe staff shortage? Service needs a little more atrention to detail and more management supervision e.g. no orange juice avaliable one morning as it wasn't refilled, given a broken coffee cafetiere on both mornings, as the room wasn't serviced we had an unmade bed, full litter bins and had to ask for milk etc to.be...

"Easy check in and loads of parking. The room was absolutely amazing, we were outside so felt like being in a cabin overlooking the garden. Bathroom was huge and clean. Went to the bar in the evening and the service was great. Can't fault this hotel"

"This is an unusual format for a hotel but it works very well. Some of the single rooms have dedicated private bath/shower rooms separate from their bedroom with personal key. I was travelling ight and I really appreciated the dressing gown which came with the room. The breakfast room was bright and the service matched it. The railway station is quite close and the town centre lues just beyond it, all downhill so a taxi back may be a comfortabe option. i found the staff veary helpful. "

"Very quant old building in the centre of Petworth village. The rooms are very clean, nicely designed with beautiful bathrooms. Mind your head! As a very old building the stairs are narrow and uneven as may present a challenge for folks with limited mobility."

"Lovely hotel with extremely helpful staff. The room was large with lovely bathroom and was very clean. We ate two nights in the HarBar and enjoyed both meals. Staff in the restaurant were very helpful making sure our allergies were attended to. Several staff asked us if we needed help with anything. Great hotel and staff."

"Great staff, friendly, helpful & polite. Dining area and gardens are attractive and spacious. Our bedroom & ensuite were large and tastefully decorated. We had a lovely stay but there were a few things that would have made it excellent: the bedroom mirror was v dirty & smeared and the blind above the bed was broken, so couldn’t let more daylight into the room during the day. Also- would really like a loo brush to keep it clean!! The room rate isn’t cheap, so would expect higher standard of...
