"The staff were pleasant and welcoming. We liked the convenience and food offered at the property. The bed was also extremely comfortable. In terms of improvements, the mirror in the bathroom was too far away for shaving, etc - It would be nice to have a magnifying mirror. Also, we felt it was difficult to leave the property by car as the visibility was quite poor and cars pass by quite quickly."

"Easy check in and loads of parking. The room was absolutely amazing, we were outside so felt like being in a cabin overlooking the garden. Bathroom was huge and clean. Went to the bar in the evening and the service was great. Can't fault this hotel"

"Very comfortable, excellent breakfast, helpful reception and enthusiastic young staff would suggest mentioning that the second floor is only accessible by two flights of narrow stairs - it is an old building but anyone with mobility problems might have difficulty"

"The staff were really friendly and lovely and the stay was so value for money with breakfast included. The bed was also quite comfy and the room was nice and warm. The decor is a little outdated but that doesn't affect the stay at all. The pub was decent and although we didnt try the food, the menu looked great."

"We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). The ford was good, the beer excellent and the staff friendly and...

"Very pleasant stay in a tastefully refurbished room. Good food and drink in friendly surroundings. Lovely pub."

"The pub was pleasant and lively and we enjoyed a good dinner. The room was on the small side but it had all the amenities we needed. The breakast was freshly cooked and excellent."

"Truly a gem of a place to stay . We had wedding reception to attend at the stag so booked two days . The management and staff were so professional which put them up with five star status. The pub restaurant was alway fully book a reflection of how good the food is . I gem of a place and will definitely return . "

"I arrived a few hours early, but my room was available immediately. A lovely room with modern bathroom. I was in the single, which served my needs very well. Well heated. No problem with noise. Very close to train station. Godalming is a beautiful town."

"My stay at The Percy Arms was absolutely amazing! I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. The staff are warm, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. The food is outstanding – I highly recommend trying the South African breakfast, it’s a definite 10/10!"

"Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms"
