"We were really impressed with our stay at Harpers Steakhouse in Haslemere. Looking for a reasonably priced hotel for a one-night stay, we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. "Easy check in and loads of parking. The room was absolutely amazing, we were outside so felt like being in a cabin overlooking the garden. Bathroom was huge and clean. Went to the bar in the evening and the service was great. Can't fault this hotel"

"Great staff, friendly, helpful & polite. Dining area and gardens are attractive and spacious. Our bedroom & ensuite were large and tastefully decorated. We had a lovely stay but there were a few things that would have made it excellent: the bedroom mirror was v dirty & smeared and the blind above the bed was broken, so couldn’t let more daylight into the room during the day. "The property was tired and needs a overhaul. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bed was good. The staff were absolutely brilliant helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Food was lovely both breakfast and dinner. Would recommend it "

"We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). "Very quant old building in the centre of Petworth village. The rooms are very clean, nicely designed with beautiful bathrooms. Mind your head! As a very old building the stairs are narrow and uneven as may present a challenge for folks with limited mobility."

"Super stay as a half way point from Wimbledon to the coast on bikes with kids. Excellent, spacious family room. Right on the Down’s link. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere on a sunny afternoon. Gastro pub, although we felt that the standard of the food could be improved a little. Overall though an enjoyable stay. "
