The staff were welcoming and attentive and helped us book a fabulous sunrise tour to Mount Batur that included a visit to a coffee plantation, a waterfall and rice fields. "The location is fairly far from center of Ubdu, it is not an issue if you go there to relax. Everything was perfect except one issue. I stayed the hotel during celebration week, which comes around twice a year based on Bali calendar. Near the hotel, there is a huge Hindu venue and they broadcast chants with crazily large volume. It happened everyday during my stay, one time it kept until 2:00am. For other days, it went around 11:00pm. So you want to check the hotel before you make a reservation....

"Absolute paradise! We stayed for 9 nights and couldn't fault anything. The staff all friendly, bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. We felt like like a king and a queen. The room was beautiful, from the decor to the space and the beautiful, infinity splash pool right outside the bedroom and spectacular views of the forest. "We were delighted to spend 3 nights at Suara Alam Villa. The location was great, nestled perfectly between a rice paddy and high above the lush green jungle. The resort was peaceful, quiet and only a short 10-15 minute drive into central ubud. We received excellent value for money here.
