Although we initially had trouble accessing the unit due to unclear instructions, once we got in, everything was fantastic. "Amazing! We lived in Charlevoix 55 yrs ago as newlyweds in the Coast Guard. Husband spoke with Earl Young to rent the Half House. Couldn’t afford at 150 mo!!! ! So this was soo fun. Beach down the hill, town is walk able everywhere. It’s pretty much original so enjoy the history of it!!! We’ll be back!"

" We had a great stay. House was immaculate. Had all amenities and more. Very well stocked. All beds were comfortable. Perfect for two families. The kids had so much fun using the kayaks. The backyard was an amazing spot to hang out. The price was higher than we usually spend on a vacation rental but we felt it was worth it in this case. I would highly recommend this house. "

"This cozy country home near Traverse City was the perfect mix of peaceful and convenient. It felt like visiting Grandma’s place. Quiet, charming, and full of comfort.We loved the spacious yard and private patio. Despite the quiet setting, we were just minutes from downtown, beaches, wineries, and restaurants. Inside was clean and thoughtfully stocked, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The host was kind, responsive. We would definitely stay again."

"We had the best family vacation at Jeff’s place. There were 6 adults and 5 kids with plenty to do for all ages! The paddle boards and kayaks were a big hit and the large game room. The water is shallow and clear right off the dock which was perfect for our kids! The sunsets were amazing! We hope to come back again! "

"House was perfect for staying and hanging out but also close enough to town if you needed to drive in. We came up for the bay shore marathon and had a great time."

"No culinary tools- i.e.Cooking utensils-mixing/tossing bowl's- pots etc.No grillGreat location-walked everywhere No mattress covers on any of the mattresses-gross, you can’t launder a mattress!Upon arrival:1.Cleanliness of bed linens on a couple beds was questionable (did laundry while vacationing)2.Full outdoor garbage bin (maybe should have multiple bins)3. Allowed us to park 2 trucks w/trailers in backyard 4. Way too many glade plug-ins in outlets- total of 11 5. Upstairs smells like a smoker...
