"Rooms are phenomenal if staying for a week or so. Little kitchenette, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, and dishes allows you to save money or save leftovers. I was there for about a week for a conference, there is a bridge so I didn’t have to step outside in the cold! Nice little market with a decent selection of beers. Breakfast is pretty much the same everyday, it’s okay. It’s free and offered daily so can’t expect five star made to order but there’s a good selection. I will probably be trying...

"The hotel was in a prime location to allowing easy access to explore the China Town. It was also in close enough distance to the event we were there for at the McCormick place which allowed us to take a quick bus ride there. The hotel was extremely clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and professional and we definitely would stay again and reccomend. There are full size Shampoo, Conditioner, bodywash, lotion and handsoap creating convinience. "Really great spot right downtown. Our unit didn’t face Wabash directly so the train noise wasn’t bad at all. The staff were super responsive and friendly. The only downside is that there is only one window in the unit and it faces brick walls and other unit walls/windows. Not really a problem if you are there to sleep and then head out for the day. But if you are work-staying, you might want a bit more daylight. Overall, I would recommend, for sure! "

"I had a nice two night stay at the Blackstone. It’s well maintained, clean and staff are friendly. It’s near the river and was a 5-10 minutes walk to the Art Institute and Auditorium Theatre. Bath products were lovely and the robe was so comfy. I was a solo female traveller and I felt very safe and comfortable at this property. Two small considerations: the restaurant closes by 10. Coming home from the theatre, it would have been nice to have a nightcap option that didn’t require an uber ride....

"My second stay here. Absolutely enjoyed my stay both times. Walking distance to many great restaurants, theaters, and attractions. Not in an insanely crowded area, especially on Saturday and Sunday. Very affordable parking with in/out privileges. Will now be my go-to hotel when I’m in town."
