This is the quieter side of the Island on the North Coast. Before you make up your mind, read some of the reviews from previous guests as many have kindly mentioned what appealed to them about this part of the Island. If you have any doubts, drop us a line and we will be delighted to help with any queries you may have. Vacation time is expensive and precious so you need to make the right decision for you.

Mi Casa, Su Casa is exactly what it sounds like, a home from home. This is a one bed, one bath 1039 sq foot condo on the middle floor of a 3 floor building, with a large master bedroom with king size bed (100% prima cotton sheets), a good sized living area, a spacious kitchen and a bathroom (bamboo towels) with a walk in rain head shower. 7th night free year round - book for 7 nights and only pay for 6. Stay 7 or more nights and receive a 14% discount on your entire stay. The discount will be reflected as a reduced nightly rate rather than a deduction. Base rate for low season is $270 per night and high season is $350 per night. If you want to stay more than 6 nights, you will see the discount in the per night night rate once you select your dates.

Constantly updated and refreshed with teak patio furniture, hardwood bedroom floor (King bed, oversized chair that converts to a twin bed to accommodate a child), silestone kitchen counter tops, unusual art work, comfy sofas (the larger one in the living area converts to a queen bed), fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to make even a thanksgiving dinner.

If cooking is not part of your vacation plans, there are restaurants on either side of the complex and a third option a mile away.

The Retreat has its own 1200 foot private white sandy beach, freshwater pool, gym and tennis court.

BBQs are available on site for your use and the beach has plenty of sun loungers and chairs. Due to it's location, we are fortunate to be able to enjoy year round sunsets from the main beach. Be sure to stay after the sun sets and enjoy the amazing colors in the sky. Spectacular doesn't even start to describe the beauty.

The ocean is just steps away. The condo has dvds, board games, playing cards and books. We also live on Island and have done for 26 years.

We take comfort very seriously and you will find every chair, cushion, bed, towel and linen purchased with that in mind.

If you are looking for a little piece of paradise with all the comforts of home and conveniences of services in the immediate area, look no further - you have arrived.

Everything about this was perfect!Communication - As soon as we made our booking, the hosts reached out to us with lots of information about the rental and the island. It was like having our own personal travel advisor! The communication remained excellent leading up to and throughout the entire trip. Cleanliness - I only wish I kept my house as clean as this rental is! No dirt or grime, no sand, no yuckiness at all. Everything was spotless.Provision - The condo is beyond well stocked. When I realized there was something I forgot to pack (a beach bag, aloe, etc), it was right there waiting for us. Everything we needed was provided. Beach gear, kitchen equipment, huge amounts of towels, games, paper products, detergent, and more. Location - As the listing says, this rental is far from the main tourist area on the island. If you want quick and easy access to a large variety of restaurants, shopping, and such, this isn't the place for you. However, if you want peace and quiet, this is it!!The best part of the location is the beach area! The 7 Mile beaches are well known for their beauty, but they are boring compared to this one! The beach here has beautiful sandy areas and other rocky places teeming with life. Just off shore, you will find an area of gorgeous coral full of fish in shallow water. If you are up to swimming a bit further out, there is one of the best snorkel spots on the island. We spent hours snorkeling and exploring!The perfect place!

Wow - just wow!!! We had such a lovely time in this dreamy spot!! Everything you could possibly need - right at your fingertips!! The location was awesome, the condo had everything you could possibly need and Val spoiled our family in the best of ways! We can’t wait to stay here again!

The condo was clean, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. Seemed to have everything you could think of. Really liked the nice touch of the welcome basket. The hosts were brilliant and communicated throughout our stay to assist with any questions we had. We would not hesitate to come back.

The condo unit was very clean and well appointed. It's in a very good location at the tip of Rum Point with a small private beach. Rum Point is on the quiet side of the island well away from the busy areas of George Town and Seven Mile Beach. The owners were always available to communicate with and were very receptive to any needs we had. After we had booked the unit and well before we arrived the owners sent a long email with a lot of information on restaurants, things to do, where to shop, etc. It was extremely helpful to plan our days with all the information that was provided. It was great to have beach chairs, an umbrella, coolers, snorkeling gear and other items to take when we explored other beaches around the island. All said, it was a wonderful condo to spend a week in when visiting Grand Cayman.

The property could not be more perfect for my husband and I. The condo was impeccably clean (their house keeper is a perfectionist) as well as stocked with everything we could need and a binder filled with local knowledge. Val and Dave are just the perfect hosts you are looking for. The view of the Caribbean from the screened in balcony was so relaxing. The location of the property was close enough to a grocery store (that will deliver), restaurants, water sports, white sandy beaches, beautiful snorkeling and other adventures. The location is on the more peaceful side of Grand Cayman, away from all the hustle and bustle. We did rented a car for the week allowing us to explore elsewhere on the island and realized Rum Point was for us the perfect spot from sun rises to the amazing sun sets.

We had a wonderful week at Rum Point, where we have stayed previously. A special shout-out to Valerie, the owner, who was extraordinarily attentive to us from the very start. Excellent, thoughtful and timely communications and all the little extras (like a welcome basket, a great list of suggested "to-do's," coolers and freezer packs and more!). Mi Casa Su Casa is in a perfect location and had everything (and I really do mean everything) that we needed to enjoy a wonderful week.

Our stay at Mi Casa Su Casa was a wonderful respite from New England winter. The area is spectacular, with a sandy beach, a quiet inlet, and snorkeling right from shore. No need to sign up for a tour group!Val and Dave were perfect hosts, checking in with before and during our stay, and giving us really helpful information. The only thing that prospective renters should keep in mind is that this quiet location, while it has restaurants close by, is a good drive from other services. So be sure you are prepared to drive or cab to supermarkets, etc. We had our taxi driver make a quick stop from the airport to a large market on the way in. And three cheers to our perfect Super Hosts!

I truly could not have asked for a better first time experience in Grand Cayman! Val was the absolute BEST host I have ever worked with; she provided me with so much information ahead of time that I have zero worries going into it, the condo was fully stocked with everything you could ever need, & the island itself was breathtakingly beautiful!! We have now completed our third vacation at Mi Casa, Su Casa. Every time we stay, we are impressed by the cleanliness and extra thought that is provided for our stay. The homeowner is very communicative and shares great information regarding the island and how to get the most out of your vacation. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! It feels like you are staying at a friend's place. Val had great information and communication beforehand and was so quick to answer any questions we had while we were there as well as keeping us posted on island events that might affect our stay. Val and Dave really care about your stay. It is a fully stocked condo. The kitchen has everything you would need if you decide to do a lot of cooking in; and Val has some great recommendations if you want to eat out. Bed and furniture is very comfortable and the decor is so lovely and homey. The screened deck is a great place to relax! Solaris is steps away and though they can get busy, the noise does not carry to the condo. I definitely recommend staying at Rum Point. You can see the sunrise and sunset from there. Great snorkeling right out front of the condo. We saw turtles, stingray, a barracuda, and a reef shark (the last 2 were a little further out). Loved it!!

They also gave us restaurant recommendations and were readily available for any questions or concerns. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and Val provided a very nice gift basket. Communication with the host was great. Super attention to detail in the condo. Love the serenity of the location, definitely has a tropical feel. Sunsets were beautiful. Pizza at Solis restaurant next door is great. Would choose again on a repeat visit.

Val and Dave are the best hosts! The condo was equipped with anything that you might need...right down to picnic basket, extra beach chairs (we used at other beaches), plenty of kitchen supplies, the list goes on! Val was very easy to reach for any questions. The condo is on the quiet side of the island, exactly what we wanted. We had the pool to ourselves every day. It was a little piece of heaven. We would go back for certain.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the retreat. We had great response to questions and no issues at all. Everything we needed was provided and beach was great for snorkeling and relaxing. Saw and filmed many turtles, barracuda, angel fish and many other fish types. There was a baby stingray at the beach in the shallow waters almost every day. Glad to have stayed here this year. Looking forward to our next trip to the caymans. We are divers so we drive to Georgetown area and dive from there. Next year we will dive north side.
