"Within the hustle of the big city this is a very private, quiet oasis. Yet the city, amenities, and the turnpike are easily accessible. The place is impeccably clean and the host is super easy to communicate with. I cooked while we were there and the eat-in kitchen is comfortable to work in. The rooms are spacious. "Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. The home was warm, cozy, clean and well stocked with essentials. We enjoyed the views of snow on mountain/hills as well as several deer. The home provided us with much needed restful nights. Our host was readily available and responsive to our needs. We would love to come back in the future."

"The title of the listing, "Spacious cozy retreat, off the beaten path close to all Pittsburgh attractions" is a perfect description for this home. The location is super quiet in a good way. No highway noise, no loud neighbors, almost too quiet ;) Plenty of off street parking is on site which was a big plus for me. "Nice home and comfortable. Enough room for 8 people. Dining table has 6 chairs. Could use 2 or more chairs or bar stools. If you plan to cook, you will need pots and better pans. I’m glad I brought some after reading other reviews. I should have brought serving bowls too. There is a small charcoal grill outside.All in all, my family was comfortable and we had a really nice time. It felt like home away from home."

"This was a great house for me and my sisters as we enjoyed a weekend away from our everyday lives! The house was pretty and clean - and we loved having coffee on the deck in the mornings!"

"We rented this property to be within walking distance of our family. The property was as described in the listing, however it is over top a business which belongs to the property owners. During our visit, we encountered a couple small hiccups. 1) a person (appeared to be an employee of the business) was smoking marijuana outside the house and the odor filled the unit. "Train tracks are right behind the property and run in the evenings. Because there is a crossing close by the train blows its whistle. Our stay had a couple trains after midnight with whistles that woke us up each night"
