"We all enjoyed our stay at The Red Hen. The location was great. The game room had something for everyone. The pool was a hit, and the mature trees provided lots of shade. We would definitely recommend this to others. "

"I had a great time getting to be free of my on- land life and got to enjoy the serene lake life for a vacation. The host was very accommodating and easily reached. A different kind of rental, i loved it. I will be booking here again. "

"Our organization FoodTokTV met there for a cooking competition. The stay was very comfortable. The owner was very responsive. We had 1 issue with a toilet and he came over within 20 minutes and repaired the issue. That was awesome. "

"The home gives that home away from home feel. Having two TVs made it easy for the kids to watch tv & I watched what I wanted. The layout is truly huge! Kitchen was equipped with all the things. Enjoyed my weekend!"

"The house was nice. It could have been cleaner, but to be fair, one of the guests cleans houses, so she was a little critical. It was not stocked well, 3 rolls of toilet paper for 8 people for 5 days didn't work. There was only a few pieces of silver ware, although there was plastic. We would have preferred to wash the silver ware rather than throw away plastic. One last thing, the hot tub wasn't clean so we never used it, the pool was clean so we did swim.
