"A block or two away from the Transamerica building. Walkable distance to Chinatown, Little Italy, and the Ferry Terminal. They do not validate parking at 1 Embarcadero like their messaging system says. Rooms are kind of small, but not too terrible. Beds are super comfortable. Staff is amazing and helpful. Would definitely book there again. "

"Great location. Walking distance to everything. Nice rooms. Clean. Friendly staff. Only cons were, like most places in Carmel, there is no ac and the walls are very thin. The room gets very warm if the weather is warm. You can open the windows but you will hear everything from the parking lot. You can hear everyone’s water running, doors slamming, and loud talking. The pros far out weigh the cons and I’d definitely stay here again. Cooler times of year and bring ear plugs"

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is beautiful and clean. It is an old building, but feels well kept and comfortable. The elevator is old and small, but works well and is an interesting feature. The room was well appointed and clean, with a sepia mural on one wall. The mattress was a little hard, but still quite comfortable. "The free breakfast was amazing, not what we expecting! The cleaning staff were very helpful, they gave us something to get a stain out when we couldn’t find a tide stick anywhere. The front desk was able to accommodate our 2 separate reservations so we could get into our second room early. Great experience."

Our room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a great night’s rest. The casino floor was lively and entertaining, with plenty of games and a great atmosphere.
