"Owners and staff were extremely helpful, especially when using the luggage forwarding. Use of common area is perfect for buying groceries and making own food ( There is a 24 hr grocery store nearby). The rooms are beautiful, abeit the walls are thin. it does not deter from staying here and would recommend for anyone wanting the old feel with updated features.It is also conveniently close to 2 train stations. which makes transit relatively easy."

"Great amenities (washing machine & dryer in the bathroom awesome) & to be so close to Fushimi Inari. It is quite a long way from other sights in Kyoto though but close to a local train station so fine if you’re happy to take transport to get around. Beds great & nice feather pillows. Very clean & tidy but be aware there is no front desk so it’s best to do the check-in prior to arriving. "The advertisement is not what it is. The location is in a residential area and nowhere near anything. Housekeeping is available upon request for an additional charge, towels are given upon request and trash must be taken out as well. The laundry room was terrible, the dryers are ineffective due to lack of maintenance, the cleaning of the filters. "
