Only 9-10 minutes' walk from Villefranche Sur Mer's old town, you will find this luxurious penthouse in a beautiful residence.
The apartment was renovated to a very high standard in 2015 lead by a Scandinavian interior architect.
The terraces, with a total area of 36 m2, enjoy a lovely panoramic views of the bay of Villefranche, Cap Ferrat and towards Beaulieu Sur Mer. The apartments enjoy sun from morning to late afternoon. All rooms have access to their own terrace.
Several parking spaces available

The apartment has two spacious bedrooms with comfortable double beds. The master bedroom is combined with a private bathroom, while the second bedroom has its own shower and sink.
The master bedroom is also equipped with a single bed. In addition, there is a cot and high chair for small children.

The apartment is equipped with tv, dvd / stereo.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for making delicious meals.

Stunning view. Second bedroom very small and tiny bathroom. Main bedroom and en-suite has no towel rail. Towels smelled as previous guests could not dry them. Smell would not come out despite washing them twice. Sink would not drain. No food or drink of any kind for welcome pack. Washing machine and tumble dryer a good facility but no clothes airer to dry them if you don’t want them to shrink in the tumble dryer. Caretaker on site was friendly and helpful and manager also good with quick responses.

Best VRBO stay yet

This penthouse is stunning. So spacious, clean and the views are incredible. It felt so much like home though that we hardly every wanted to leave it and go for drives around.

Beautiful views!

Nice newly renovated apartment with a good amount of space and an incredible view out over the bay. Has everything you need to be comfortable and self cater as well. A good spot to explore Nice and the surrounding area!

Schöne Aussicht in ruhiger Umgebung

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Die Aussicht ist wunderbar und die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und lädt zum entspannen ein. Wir haben uns auch sehr darüber gefreut unseren kleinen Hund mitnehmen zu dürfen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Absolutely Perfect

So perfect it made all the subsequent hotel stays a bit lacking. Nicely appointed and very comfortable and really appreciated the gated entrance. But my favorite features are the wraparound deck and the master suite with blackout shades. We hope to come back very soon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space!

Extraordinary views in a perfect apartment on the French Rivera

My husband & I spend a wonderful holiday here! I literally gasped when I saw the view upon entering! It is BREATHTAKING! The apartment is an absolutely lovely, private, quiet and secure building. The wraparound balcony is amazing. The variety of outdoor furniture (dinner table/chairs, outdoor couch, chairs) was a treat! The apartment itself is absolutely beautiful, extraordinarily clean and VERY tastefully decorated with excellent storage for clothes/personal items. Perfect! The kitchen is very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. I wanted to stay FOREVER! Easy and secure parking too- also a wonderful amenity. Both the owner and the local agent, Marie-Laure were extremely helpful and promptly responsive. Just wonderful! We cannot wait to book our return.

Modern apartment with dream view

We had perfect vacation in beautiful location! The apartment is very well equipped, modern appliances; there is balcony all around to profit from gorgeous view - it is in reality even better than shown in the pictures! Communication with host was super easy, we hope to come back in the future:)

Très belle situation, bel appartement.

Arrivée gâchée : personne sur place pour l’accueil, il fallait aller chercher la clé soi même sur un autre lieu! Les lits n’étaient pas faits, literie sale sur le sol , machine à laver pas vidée et le ménage n’était pas fait . La situation a été rectifiée le lendemain par Anna et son compagnon qui ont fait le ménage à fond. Nous avons eu un contact avec l’hôte de cet appartement qui était à notre écoute, néanmoins l’arrivée gâchée et les faits cités plus hauts , ne correspondent absolument pas au standing de cet appartement .

Great view, a bunch of problems

Great view and very sleek decor. However many things are disappointing in terms of actually staying there. Nobody to meet us at the appart, no explanations of how things work, many things did not work. Owner needs to fix the problems and then it would probably be a great place to stay.

I mean... the view!

The view at this property is unbelievable, and we honestly gasped every time we walked in again after being out. We spent all our time on the terrace. If you go, I'd recommend taking binoculars to check out the constant stream of yacht traffic into the harbor. My husband got an app (marine traffic) that allowed him to identify the ships and all the information about the size, fittings, etc. He LOVED this. Villefranche is lovely and is just around the corner (literally) from Nice. We rented a car and there is great gated parking for this building. The owner was very easy to communicate with and the apartment was comfortable. Highly recommended!

Stunning views and a nice apartment

The views from this property are stunning. The balcony is big and gets both sunrise and sunset views. The apartment is spacious and modern with good air conditioning. The communication with the owner was very good - he responded quickly and was always friendly. Once the booking was made and it was up to his local hosts, the communication was poor. Basically, it was up to me to contact them to ask about arrival details and in response, I was texted a googlemap! At the airport, still no information on check in had been given, so I texted again. Was asked what time I was arriving even though I'd already texted that information days previously. Once we arrived, we found there were locked gates to the complex. We worked out how to call the apartment. No answer. Waited in the boiling heat. Eventually a neighbour buzzed us through the gate. Then the door to block was also locked. Rang. No answer. After several minutes the cleaner came down - very smiley but spoke neither French nor English. She managed to give us the basics via google-translate on her phone but I couldn't ask her questions like where the nearest supermarket was or where to leave the keys on departure. No information in the apartment on the locality - bakeries, supermarkets etc. Just not what you need to start your holiday. The apartment itself is pretty much as the photos, although the balcony had a lot of 'stuff' on it that shouldn't have been there - washing horses, high chairs, buckets, mops etc. It is a fair way from anything - a car would be good, or a great love of many, many steps. Basically, if you are planning to chill on the balcony, it's ideal. If you want to get anywhere else, either a car or investigate the bus routes as the steps did get a bit wearisome, even for fit folk like us. On the final day, the cleaner just let herself into the apartment way before check out time which I thought was unacceptable as we'd been told to leave the keys in a box in the hallway so she knew we were still inside. In summary, unbeatable views, nice apartment, but givne how expensive it was, I expected better service.

Wonderful view, lovely apartment, great location but rent a car unless you are fit!

I stayed here with my wife and 16 year old. The first thing to note is the fantastic panoramic view and wonderful outdoor balcony space. What a joy to wake up every day to it. We loved spending time in this place. The hosts are super - both owner and his agents. Very responsive and friendly. The apartment itself is nicely decorated and generally very well equipped including electronic shutters and very good AC. If peace is desirable then this is perfect for you. The locale is a safe quiet neighborhood but not so far from the bustle of the lovely and lively Villefranche port area. It is very hilly, even the short walk to the local village Boulanger involves a workout. The location is also away from the bustle of Nice. But not so far that you can't get food delivery with all the options of the city from certain branded services (which I’m not allowed to specifically mention). The place is perfectly situated just below the Moyen Corniche with easy access to explore the Grande and the Bas also. It is also just 10 min drive to the lovely little town of Beaulieu which has some nice shops and beach resorts. If you have a car avoid the local supermarket and head to the Intermarché about 2km further along the same road towards Monaco (part of the Moyen Corniche) - far better quality, more selection and easier parking. I strongly recommend a rental car - it’s quite the climb from Villefranche, the local bus service is not very reliable and taxis cost €15 each way. We started our stay without a car but after 2 days negotiating steep crumbling steps in the intense heat we changed this - a small automatic is best to avoid constant changing gears on switchbacks. I am giving 5 stars after providing direct feedback to the owner on some minor improvements which he has committed to making. I would definitely book again.

A wonderful stay in South of France

Highly recommend. The apartment was well-stocked, very clean, and comfortable. There is ample parking in the private lot associated with the building. A small grocery (Casino) is nearby and walkable within 5-7 minutes. At night it was very quiet and the French style of shades (blackout) worked well. The view is amazing! It's even better than what is shown in the photos. We spent many hours sitting outside on the balcony, even in the slightly chilly March weather. The property manager was extremely responsive and helped us with every question we had. She also gave us great insider tips about things to do and places to go in the area. We'd definitely stay there again next time we visit the Nice area!
