I booked a room here with two beds two months in advance because it was in close proximity to our venue. Advised upon arrival that they only had rooms with a king-size bed.
The girl at the desk had started employment that day as cleaning staff and was left all alone to process guests. She phoned the owner/manager for assistance, which was fruitless. The second time she called, he spoke to me and gave me some excuse about problems with the portal and it was their fault regarding the room shamozzle.
Finally after spending 45 minutes going through an anxiety-provoking check-in, my daughter and I ended up staying in the one-bed room ... not really any choice.
Stairs to access rooms are in total disrepair and crumbling (huge safety hazard). Room was cold so went to office ... given a heater.
One towel in room; no bathmat; had to flush toilet before using, as last user hadn't; only one partial roll of toilet tissue on holder with paper resting on the wall; no plunger (if necessary); no bathroom curtain; no cups; coffee maker with no carafe, no cups, no coffee; dirty fridge; newspaper on wall behind vanity partially covering replastered area; no TV remote .. requested, but never received and manuall attempt was unsuccessful; empty kleenex box; no fitted sheet on bed, just one flat sheet tucked around mattress and a duvet; room obviously had not been cleaned with many questionable areas; switch on wall with no switchplate and wiring exposed.
ABYSMAL!!!
