"This house is in a perfect location to walk to everything you want to enjoy in Newport. We parked our car when we arrived and didn't need it again the whole stay. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need to relax and they even serve homemade baked goods for breakfast. This is the second time I have stayed at Admiral Syms house and will definitely be back."

"Stay away! Our experience was awful and led to our immediate departure from the property. We checked in and found the assigned condo to be in an unacceptable, uninhabitable condition. The unit was run down, and we discovered significant cleanliness issues including pubic hair on the toilet and in the shower, mold around the shower tub drain and behind a toilet, unclean sinks, and badly stained kitchen chairs. "The apartment could not be in a more central location in Newport! We enjoyed easy access to many local bars and restaurants including being ten steps from O'Briens Pub. The apartment has a nice deck space with harbor views for morning coffee. Would stay again when in Newport! "

"Perfectly located, we didn’t have to drive once during our 6-day stay. Beach is walking distance, RIPTA bus took us to attractions in town, and we bicycled everywhere else (including the festival grounds)! The cottage was big enough for the two of us, kitchen well equipped and plenty of outdoor space for grilling and dining. We highly recommend it!"

"Enjoyed our short stay here. Location was definitely the highlight as it is a perfect spot to walk Newport downtown area for sights, restaurants, shopping, coffee etc. We did not have any issues with access or safety and felt comfortable with our kids in tow. Parking was hit or miss but expected during busy summer season and we overall did pretty well finding a spot. Would definitely return in the future"

"This property was exactly as advertised! It is beautifully kept, clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable! The location was fantastic! Communication from management was great and we got a spot for our car on the street in front of the VRBO and never moved it again.
