"I want to discourage everyone from staying at the Royal Frenchman… in order to keep this place to myself! Don’t stay here if want a modern hotel, with many modern amenities, lacking in character and charm. "Perfect retreat for my celebration of life trip to NOLA! The Bunk House room is a gem with its unique, solid bunk bed and dreamy wall art creating a magical ambiance. Though not large, the room is thoughtfully organized, feeling spacious and functional. The powerful AC and fan were lifesavers in the heat, and the shower's water pressure was incredible after city explorations. "Huge wow factor when you come in. It’s a recently converted 130 year old school with high ceilings and beautiful rooms. Fully outfitted to cook your own meals. A three minute walk to the Canal Streetcar. Came with a family of four. Gated for additional safety. Free parking onsite. Gym downstairs is two treadmills and a bunch of barbells and some benches - all you need. 100% would stay here any time we are in the city, especially if staying for a week or more."
