I had a comfortable stay and really appreciated the powerful AC, fan, and dehumidifier in my downstairs room. New Orleans doesn't play around with heat and humidity. The best part of my stay was my interactions with the housekeeper, Melissa. She welcomed me in a true New Orleans manner and I felt like I was staying at her house. She informed when there was an issue with the city's internet infrastructure, made sure I had everything I needed for my stay, and had fantastic information and recommendations for the city. As a Southerner myself, I was deeply impressed with her level of Southern Hospitality. I will stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommend!

Parking on the street was interesting, but didn’t have any issues. Loved the interior and our room. The private bathroom was nice and everything was clean. Our air conditioning worked great for our needs. Only met the housekeeper once, but I liked her very much.

Beautiful place to stay for travelers looking for traditional and quiet New Orleans home. Very historical spacious and clean. Property looked almost identical to photos.Staff provided clear instructions on building and room entrance all amenities were provided. Very lovely spot overall! Great building and architecture. Shower/bathroom was small for me and my boyfriend (we are both over 5’7”/6’2” 200+ lbs so we are big folk we know but just for reference)! Bedroom was super cool, the AC was nice it just didn’t get as cold as we were used to back home/with the LA 90+ degree weather/humidity. Didn’t see any staff during our 3 day stay which was totally fine. We did book because we were under the impression there’d be a private parking lot, but it is just street parking. Again, not a bad thing but something to keep in mind as there are a lot of folks out and about around the area. Bourbon street is about at 20-25 minute walk without the streetcar (which was delayed/down for us). Honestly would recommend for more solo travelers/smaller people haha! Good stay though and appreciate the time spent there!

What a beautiful property! VERY quiet and peaceful. Be aware that there is no elevator and you have to walk up a high steep flight of stairs with your luggage if you’re on the second floor. Also, there’s no staff apparent. You enter the front door and room door with a code. But if you had a problem, you just texted their phone and someone answered promptly to help. As I left I ran into the cleaning person. She was SO nice and friendly. We chatted a bit and at the end she gave me a hug. So sweet! I would stay there again.

For the classy room (down stairs) the private bathroom is in the hallway (not in the room). Besides that being a little awkward, the bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of closet space, mini fridge in the room and the curtains definitely kept it nice, dark and cool in the morning!

Very charming house! The room was very clean & had everything we needed. The bed was a little firm, which wasn’t awful for us but if you’re really particular about having a soft fluffy mattress you might be uncomfortable. The only concerning thing was that as we were packing to leave, who I’m assuming to be the owner knocked on our door & we told her we were still there & would be another minute. That was maybe 10 minutes before our check out time at 11:00. Then right as our time to check out hit, she busted through the door without knocking or anything. She was nice & all but it was a little uncomfortable getting the rest of our belongings together while she stood there & chatted. She was nice though. If I could give a suggestion, it would be to wait until 11:01 & knock before coming in. They also allowed us to leave our luggage under the stairs before our check in time.

I had a wonderful time! This is a hidden oasis in a loud rambunctious city. For an introvert like me it was a perfect spot to recharge away from the exuberance of the city. Read the description carefully! The only two things I will add for future guests is to bring your own water. I do not recommend drinking New Orleans water. I was able to get big gallon jugs at Rouses Market for around $2. Second, be aware that this is an old house with old pipes, so please be patient with the shower. I think two of us were trying to take a shower at the same time, and I got cold water.

The room was clean yet compact, filled with a king bed. Unfortunately, the window curtained with the air conditioner outlet, to a .The house is lovely. I did not bother with coffee or tea as was unexpected because no milk or cream provided. There was no staff to be seen.
