A beautiful vacation home. The individual houses are secluded from the main roads and the semi-private pool is a perfect respite from the New Orleans heat.Tons of great bars, food, and shopping all within walking distance from the house - would definitely stay here again for any future trips!

This was the coolest property! Once the former home of Paul Prudhomme, there are multiple separate “homes” on the property that share a beautiful courtyard with a heated pool and hot tub, plenty of lounge areas, a grill, and even a life-size chess board. The homes were clean and beautifully decorated. It was walking distance to Frenchman St and to the Quarter. The neighborhood had multiple cute brunch and breakfast spots. The property manager was always nearby and available by phone. Check in and check out were easy. We loved our stay!! Would absolutely stay again!

Girls Trip

A group of us traveled to NOLA for the first time and stayed here. Accommodations were great! Gilbert and his staff were very attentive and made the stay great. There were many groups in and out during the course of out stay and everyone was very friendly. A great way to stay when in NOLA - would definitely stay here again!

Staff adds to comfort of this property

Absolutely love this place. It's gorgeous, relaxing and clean. But the staff, the staff is amazing. Wilson and the rest of the chateau staff went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home. We will definitely be back. The best vacation we ever had.

The pool was a perfect size for everyone to hang out in. It was fun to get to meet the other people in the surrounding château’s. The staff is absolutely amazing. Anything we needed. They were right on top of it. Miss Wendy was my absolute favorite person. She was so helpful and made me a sweet little birthday package. The rooms were exactly as described online. If you’re looking for a perfect breakfast joint, Who Dat is the best!!!! It is only 4 block north of the house.

Best VRBO

Such a fun and unique place to stay. Wilson was very friendly and great with answering questions about the property and the surrounding area. We had a 4 bedroom unit with 7 adults. The grounds and Wilson were definitely highlights for us. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Great choice for Jazz Fest or any occasion

Michael and staff welcomed us and helped with anything we needed. My daughter and friend loved the pool and their rooms. Wish I could take the kitchen home, with hot coffee and the porch on the courtyard, every amenity and appliance. Thanks!

great location

This property is in a great location to walk to the french quarter if you wish. The staff was very helpful and provided great information on the town and places to eat. However the villa we stayed in was not as explained in the listing. The floors were very uneven with large areas that actually sank when walked on. The fold out couch was broken and filthy. The bathroom toilets were a problem, with the hallway bath having a seat that you had to hold to keep from sliding, and the second bath needed plunging daily. The hallway bath had no working fan so the mold on everything was a problem and required housekeeping to bleach substantially while we were there. The unit was located at the very end of the complex and I would not recommend anyone with walking issues use it.
