"This was a family trip to visit family nearby. We stayed 2 nights, it was so relaxing. Sitting on the porch enjoying the river was our favorite part. The home was very clean and the hosts made everything so simple for check in and check out. I would stay here again when going to the area. "Our stay at the four bedroom log cabin was wonderful. We were in town for my son’s graduation from VT and this house was perfect for our family. "Rose Cottage was perfect and a delightful place to stay with dogs. The house had everything we needed and was so organized and welcoming that we were quick to feel at home. Jessie was so kind when we met. The fire pit and axe throwing down by the creek was so refreshing and the dogs were wild about running about in the huge fenced in section of the yard. We also enjoyed the deck. We're eager to come back when visiting our family and hometown again soon. "

"This was our end trip to this property-we were here in the fall and had a totally different, but equally wonderful trip! This time the kids played in the water-snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, wading and swimming. In the evenings we enjoyed the fire pit and pool table. The stocked kitchen made meal prep easy. "The property was completely adequate for our needs. Despite its small size, there was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. There were some small repairs that could have been made and some spiderwebs to be cleared. Also the trains running a few hundred feet away were a bit loud. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and the scenery was lovely."
