"This lovely old home has the most modern interior that is a comfortable distance to Portsmouth without being in the city. Attention to detail was evident in the cleanliness as well as the fully stocked beverages that can be added to your bill. I was able to reach Doug immediately concerning check-in as I was having trouble getting my home internet and he was so helpful. Should we come back again we will definitely stay here as they even allowed our 58 pound dog Emma to be with us. Emma loved...

Also, their photos regarding puppies are inaccurate - they need to revise this listing - if you're hoping to see them, as my daughters were based on the description and photos. Also, the day of check-in, we were required to make a $1,000 damage deposit which - 4 business days later - has STILL not been refunded on my Visa and I've had to follow up several times. Very disappointed."

Though it’s in an 18th century building, it has been updated and is very comfortable. The cooking facilities are adequate, although I don’t think I’d prepare a Thanksgiving dinner there be aware that there are stairs to go up and they are somewhat steep, but I was stay here again without hesitation."
