"Everything was great!! "

"This is a beautiful property. Plenty of room to accommodate our eleven adults and one grandchild. The pool and hot tub got a lot of use through the week. Both were clean and well maintained. Deck space was plenty for our group to spread out. Great ocean view and nice, clean beach. The two kitchens was a nice plus (especially the two refrigerators- one for food, one for beverages. Would happily stay here again. "

"We love staying at the Sandlot! This was our 3rd year renting this cottage and we have already booked it again for summer of 2026! We are a family of 8 adults and 7 grandchildren- the layout of the rooms/ bedrooms is perfect for us. The close proximity to the gorgeous beach is a plus, along with the fenced in pool. We highly recommend this cottage to rent! "

"Place was very convenient to the beach and Atlantic Beach restaurants. Small but had everything I needed! Kitchen was well stocked for a couple or small family. It’s a little weird not having a bathroom sink, but the kitchen sink is directly outside the bathroom door and there is a mirror behind the sink so it didn’t feel too odd, and the full size shower was nice. "Comfortable beach house. My family loved the amount of space inside, the location to the beach was also a major bonus. My only downside was that all the beds, except 1, had plastic mattress covers, which made sleeping difficult. But for the price, the house is perfect. "

"We loved the Catalina cottage so much. The lay out of the house was perfect for our family. The beautiful picture windows showed off the ocean perfectly. The porch and the private balcony were tge best places to hang out. And no beach trip is perfect without an outdoor shower. They have a great outdoor shower. We loved everything about the cottage. And our host, Debbie was super easy to talk to and communicated easily with us. "

"House was super clean! Porch was lovely. The pool is nice sized and plenty of furniture for lounging. Kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Very short (5 minutes) walk to beach. Beach was wonderful! Not crowded at all; kids loved every minute of it. We’ve been to lots of beaches along the East coast and Emerald Isle is a favorite. Glenn was a great host and other than seeing them one time, we didn’t even know they were there. Great communication. Would definitely stay again! "

"We loved our stay there! Beach is close and close to restaurants and grocery. "

"Enjoyed watching the waves roll as Hurricane Erin went by in the distance. Great spot for me and my pup to get away during the week and work."

"The house and location were perfect for our stay with 2 teenagers. Easy walk to the beach and really nice that the house is on a quiet cul-de-sac. Great layout of the kitchen/family room area. Would highly recommend renting bikes, too. The 11 mile Emerald Isle bike path is easily accessible from the house and a fun way to explore other areas. "

"Isle Stay Awhile was amazing! Getting to stay right beside the ocean was just the best, most convenient thing. No packing giant loads of things to take to the beach because we could just run back up to the house to get lunch or more water or whatever else we needed. It was wonderful! The house was amazing! So many amenities, including everything you need in the kitchen, several items for the beach, and ample supplies of toiletries. Adina and Todd were excellent hosts! I definitely hope to come...
