"Charming cabin with lots of beautiful architectural details. Obvious that while it may have some history it is well loved. Beautiful spot on the creek which makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere despite the fact that restaurants & shops are a quick easy walk from the cabin. "Great place to crash if you're visiting the river, 10 minutes from Oregon Creek Park, which is an awesome spot to hit with kids. Pretty sparse surroundings and it's deep in the woods, so it's remote and private. Space itself is set up for 2 people, if you bring more people (wouldn't recommend more than 2 adults, 2 kids) you should bring an air mattress and your own bedding. "This spot is perfectly located. We were just there for a quick overnight, not thinking too much about it, but it worked out so well that I'd just rebook here in the future. Lovely neighborhood, lush green yard, lots of easy parking, just a few minutes walk to the cute downtown, and right by the highway for driving off to the river or hikes. "Gorgeous spot and hosts were responsive and helpful. Woukd stay here again if they’ll have us :)"

"Great communication and the house was perfect for our friend group that was in the area for a wedding. Four separate sleeping areas worked well. Also enjoyed the canal and nice walking area behind the house so we could get our exercise in and to view the beautiful waterfall. Flowers and fruit at the house when we arrived were a nice touch!"

"Staying at Tara was an amazing experience. Everything was exactly what we were looking for to get away for the weekend! The cabin was spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals including spices and condiments (except butter), the couch was so comfortable, there were extra blankets, towels, toilet paper and even a first aid kit. The privacy was amazing, it was like being in our own little world. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub (and skinny dip) and I took a relaxing bath...

"Perfect property for our family gathering! House was great for accommodating multiple family groups. Loved the big dining room table for bringing folks together. The property has great hiking trails (although you need to watch out for poison oak). Alicia and Michael were very helpful giving us the info we needed to get the most out of our stay. "We had family in town (Grass Valley) from Bay Area and East Coast. We all enjoyed the incredible views and had plenty of room to spread out and relax. My mother in law celebrated her 90th birthday and was able to get away and we all felt like we had a nice vacation. Thank you!"

"Cool little cabin! Right next to the river. Great biking near by. Close to the little town. Quiet and comfortable. Has a small kitchen which was nicely stocked. Was there during a hot weekend (95ish) and was worried about no AC, but somehow the place stayed nice and cool. Would definitely stay there again"

"Sent my hubby and my boys on a weekend fishing trip and they stayed at this place. It was perfect! Place was clean, hosts were amazing folks! After a long day fishing, they were able to chill in the pool. Hospitality was tremendous, and the most important part was that the dogs were the best! Would definitely stay again. "
