"Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. Overall, thoroughly recommended."

"The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean. Access was easy using the door enrty codes provided. Wifi was good and easy to log onto. The Guest house was also vey quiet, with no disturbances. I used the breakfast room before I left, and ate granola, greek yoghurt and blueberries with a Coffee latte. These were dispensed from a vending machine, but were fresh and tasted lovely. Bowls, mugs and cuttlery were available. The staff I met were also friendly and chatty. I would highly recommend...

"The Moxy Hotel in york is one of the nicest and memorable stayes i have ever been in. I would certainly consider staying here again in future, and would reccommend this to other travellers. Ther is an open-planned social agea on the ground floor. Including a fully stocked bar selling alcoholic and soft drinks. They also serve a limited choicce of foods such as burgers and pizzas. There is also a buffet syle all-you-ca-eat cooked and contenental breakfast, which i was able to purchase on the...

"From start to finish the staff and hotel were fantastic. We arrived early but our room was ready and we were checked in speedily, the twin room was stylish,comfortable and immaculate. Staff were warm,friendly and welcoming."

"The room was lovely, and our stay massively exceeded our expectations including an evening dip in the hot tub and then using the hotel bar for games. The staff made everything that much more special for my girlfriend (now fiancé) birthday and for our engagement during our stay too to put the extra special touches in. "Really quiet room considering next to train station. Tne hotel is phenomenal and really nice. Front desk were extremely helpful as were bar staff. Well worth the stay, even if in the Annex. Negatives were bed was slightly uncomfortable and you don’t get all tv channels but otherwise, really good hotel."
