"I had such a wonderful experience. The room was very nicely decorated and top of the line. Everything was beautiful, clean, lots of amenities. I had a small accident and broke my foot, the hosts were so helpful and really went out of their way. Everything I needed was there and it was easily accessible to the city center. I cant wait to return. Top boutique hotel I've ever stayed at. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I'm so glad I booked here! "

"Check in was a very pleasant experience. We took advantage of the luggage check and on return to the hotel for check in our bags had been delivered to our room. We were even showed to our room, a nice touch. Room was very clean and the bed comfortable. A million dollar view from our room across a quiet street. Would definitely stay again."

"Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. Overall, thoroughly recommended."

"A very nice little flat 10 minutes walk away from the city centre. Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid. There is outdoor space however it is shared and a small shadowy courtyard. Doesn't look used at all. The flat is a funny layout. "This place are definitely charming and very clean, and the staff is super friendly and patient. If you arrive before check in, you can leave your luggage and take a walk around the centre. The room had a water heater and you can make yourself tea or coffee (which I love because not all hotels offer it). The breakfast is amazing as they offer a Yorkshire experience, and it's nice because it’s different from the typical hotel breakfasts. There is a bar that offers drinks during the evening and...
