Cute 1930's cottage which has been totally updated. Spacious yet cosy. Close to so many of Napier's attractions like Marine Parade, National Aquarium, Ocean Spa, McClean Park. These are all just a short walk away.

The home looks to be recently renovated, spotless, and has comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped. The beach/boardwalk is a short walk and stores are a few minutes drive away.

We loved this property! Very clean and comfortable. Great location to aquarium and beach; however, note that the closest beach is not swimable, as advised by signage. The beach is lovely and a great place for walking or flying a kite. Great communication with owner, early check in granted to accommodate working schedule, and milk in the fridge. Lovely stay and hope to return!

Magpie Cottage was beautifully furnished. Sympathetic to the era that Napier is known for. The amenities were more than ample, with every need catered for. The situation of the cottage was perfect. A street away from the beach, and close to the town centre. Highly recommend.

This cottage is located about 2.kms from the downtown area. An easy walk, or drive if the weather is bad. There are a couple of convenience stores in the immediate area as well as a small cafe. The cottage itself is comfortable, a big space to stay in. The kitchen is adequately equipped for a few nights stay. There is a washer but no dryer (an outdoor drying tree is attached to the garage. Close to Marine Parade for walks along the oceanfront. It's an older property but well maintained. Furnishings are not new but certainly adequate.

Lovely cottage. Comfortable, nucely appointed, clean and quiet. Close to Marine Parade and walkable distance to the heart of Napier. Really enjoyed our stay at Magpiecottage!

The cottage was so beautiful and very comfortable. Leslie was perfect to deal with. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the cottage and its amenities and the lovely Art Deco touches made it feel so special. A great place for two couples.

Magpie Cottage was a delight. A traditional older property near the south end of Marine Parade, it has been sympathetically restored, with lots of thought. It’s really spacious, has everything and more that you could possibly need, a lovely garden, I could go on!Leslie the owner was kind and great with us.Only disappointment was that we couldn’t stay longer.Super.
