"We enjoyed our time taking in the fantastic views of the water and the fireplace. This was our first time here and will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family. The staff was super pleasant as well! "

"Stayed 10 nights and the house is fantastic! Spacious, clean, well stocked for meal prep needs! Two fridges came in handy for our family gathering. Area is great for morning walks, grill available for cookouts, beach chairs and bikes were used often. Would highly recommend and the host was incredibly responsive. "

"We all had a wonderful time, it is in a great location. Perfect place to relax! We had two older teen boys with us and even they had a great time! They lived in the kayaks, they fished from them and also from the dock. We all enjoyed the game room and yard games. The coffee bar was a nice little perk, especially on the chilly mornings. My husband and I took a bike ride around the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. We would absolutely recommend the Lake Haus!"

"The property on Lake Michigan was exactly what I expected from the online photos. It was a beautiful place to relax on the beach and enjoy the sunshine.The bonfire pit was a great addition for us to enjoy. The cottage was clean and gave a perfect amount of space for the size of my family. We are definitely going to come back next summer!"

"We loved staying at this property! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We spent most of our time in the beautiful backyard enjoying the views, playing ladder ball, playing on the beach, and kayaking. In the evenings, we gathered as a family in the living room to watch movies together. The property is very conducive to spending time together. Nick was easy to communicate with and was very welcoming. The location was perfect for us-not in the middle of a busy tourist town...

"The home is gorgeous inside with stellar lake views; the only logistical issues are with missing silverware - not enough for a full complement of guests. We cooked often, made use of the charcoal grill, went canoeing with an assist carrying from one of the neighboring houses and bought firewood from a nearby stand but never did get out to light one. The first-floor layout was great for our 86 year old mom, but she did find it challenging to get up the 3 steps inside - once in though, she could...

"Its a small but comfy house. Clean and well kept. It had what we needed. Kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you need but bring all spices, sugars and condiments. The best part is you walk out the back door and 20 feet away is the beach. Easy to get to, no stones, all sand. We didn't swim that wasn't on our list to do but we did enjoy campfires and sunsets right on the beach. We saw eagles and pelicans and we enjoyed the quiet and privacy of the beach. "I brought my large family of 16 - 3 adult kids and their spouses along with 8 grandkids ages 10-19. Our plan had each family choosing daytime activities and each family preparing one dinner. The larger main kitchen allowed us to all eat together. Kayaks were frequently used, s’mores were made over the bonfire near the water and the view was enjoyed by all. The teens loved watching their movies upstairs while adults played games downstairs. 16 happy people!"

"This was the perfect place for our extended family gathering of 13 people. The elevated view of Sturgeon Bay was amazing. We enjoyed making s'mores in the fire pit and exploring the water using the kayaks and paddleboards. We also used the bikes in the activity shed to roam the neighborhood."

"The property is excellent! The home is very well stocked with everything you need. The view is beautiful and peaceful. Emily is an outstanding host. She gave us several recommendations for restaurants, activities, etc. She was so kind and helpful!"

"Andre was there to take us to our cute cabin. He explained where things were, where to locate the garbage cans outside, and gifted us with a delicious cheery fudge made in Door County!The kitchen was clean and well equipped. We wanted to grill on the first night but didn’t know we should have brought our own charcoal. Andre was gracious enough to lend us the lighter fluid and charcoal. "
