  • Relax on your own newly renovated wrap-around deck, which provides the feeling of an oceanfront home while being nestled in a cozy neighborhood great for walking your dog and meeting your neighbors. (Check out the oceanfront feeling in the third picture!) Welcome to this exciting 5 bedroom oceanside retreat where you can appreciate sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening. This is truly a gem.

    Sleeping is also quite comfortable. On the top floor you'll find an en-suite king bedroom as well as a loft with 2 twin beds. On the middle level each of the four bedrooms has its own doorway to a second wrap-around deck, where you can relax in two lovely 2-person swings. For the recreation enthusiast, enjoy the ground level rec area with a pool table (non-climate controlled).

    Sunrise Sunset is less than two miles from the Outer Banks Fishing Pier and Fish Head's Bar and Grill, as well as a short drive to Bodie Island Lighthouse, Oregon Inlet, restaurants, shopping, family activities, and more. South Nags Head also offers an 11-mile multi-use path, great for jogging, walking, or biking.

    Beach House Rental Jackpot
    The proximity to the ocean and beach access make Sunrise Sunset the ideal beach house rental. Our family has visited the OBX for 15 years and this house is at the top of our list. The kitchen, dining room, and wrap-around deck have a breath-taking view of the ocean. The kitchen is equipped with two refrigerators, has plenty of counter workspace to prepare meals for multiple families, and is fully stocked with cookware and utensils. After spending time at the beach and out and about, our kids loved hanging out in the loft. They setup their Xbox, played games and crashed for the night in the loft. The location offers quick access to great restaurants (Benny Tesoro's, The Dunes), ice cream parlor (Costal Creamery), and beach activities (Jennette's Pier, NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island). We will be back to stay at Sunrise Sunset!

The Views Did NOT Disappoint!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect vacation for my family to celebrate our daughter’s 15th birthday. The sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. You didn’t even need to leave the home to capture the best views. I highly recommend this property for your next vacation!

Best Little House on the Beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was one of the cleanest homes we've stayed in. For a "little" house is has a lot of space. The kitchen was well outfitted and the walk to the beach is actually shorter than soem othe houses that are "ocean front"! We loved it.

Great Vacation Home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this house! The new owner has done some great renovations to the house including new decking and ceiling fans. Our family has been staying here for years under different rental companies. This year the house was very clean and was ready for us to move in early after 4:00 but considering it was after 6 under another company. The location is the best and the views of the ocean are amazing.

Beach Week July 2024

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beach week was relaxing and too short as always. House location and view were great, especially not being oceanfront. Lifeguard station at the beach entry point was a pleasant surprise. House layout was good for our needs. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the house. One bedroom had not been cleaned and the house cleaner had to come and clean it. Found the floors to be somewhat dirty, bugs, food crumbs, etc. around the edges. Under the beds was dusty and some trash. Found part of a candy wrapper sticking up between the sofa cushions. Basically, not a very good cleaning prior to arrival. Hot tube was nice, but cover was hard to maneuver. Was also set on hottest setting so it needed to cool down before we could use it comfortably. Unfortunately, we found the pool table room unusable. Was extremely musty / moldy smelling.Had an internet outage while we were there and called the Company. They were very responsive and called to let us know when the problem had been fixed. Rental Company was also very responsive to the uncleaned bedroom situation.
