"First time visitor to Tokyo Japan. The Shibuya location of this hotel was perfect for us. All of the staff at the hotel are extremely helpful, and spoke English too. The hotel has lots of amenities so visit each meister. It was easy to get to and from the train station with our luggage. There are restaurants and coffee shops right outside the hotel. The crossing and shopping is convenient walk. I recommend especially for first time visitors because of the great location."

"Hotel was clean and easy access to Mark City restaurants and stores. Staff was very helpful. Online it says washing machines do not require soap but found that you will need to purchase. Mattress is firm. Bathroom in lobby needs updating."

"Stayed here May 2026 - booked through Expedia and made reservations before the hotel officially opened in March 2026. Stayed in a comfort double with husband and room was advertised as having in-room washer/dryer but it was not the case when we arrived. However there is a small laundry room with two washer/dryer units on the third floor and we had no issues with using/never had to wait. You can also check the status of the washer/dryers from the TV in your room which is convenient. Room was...

"Mustard Hotel is a fantastic stay with helpful staff, a great attached cafe and bar and a cool vibe. It's super walkable to Shimokitazawa or to other Tokyo transport links but acts as a nice quiet base! Even with Shimokita Senro Sai happening - a festival for the sunken railway Mustard is built on top of - the room was quiet and cozy. Beds are definitely firm, and the double is probably only just big enough for a couple! But I have stayed here before and likely will stay here again."
