"We had a lovely stay at the Charles hotel and were pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade on our arrival - a very rare event these days!
The breakfast was amazing, with kind, thoughtful and very attentive staff. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Munich was amazing with incredible Christmas markets - so much to do and see."

"This is a beautiful hotel located right next to the Marienplatz. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a corner room with a sofa and it was large and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this hotel. "

"The room was very clean. Breakfast was great. No issues with service, everyone was very considerate. As a tall guy the deep and long bath was very much appreciated after all the walking. First time I have been able to str tch my legs out on a bath fully in years. "

"The hotel staff was so helpful. The breakfast wasn’t free but was very good. There were free drinks in the evening. 5 minute walk from the main train station. The Lufthansa AirPort Express bus station is also 5 minutes away and is extremely easy to get to and from the Munich airport especially since the train station is under construction when we travelled in November. 15 minutes walk from Marienplatz "
