"This B&B was exceptional. The attention to detail was out of this world. It felt almost like staying in a top class hotel. Everything was laid on and Helen was superb in anticipating everthing I needed. And the breakfast - well - no words to describe how great it was. Again the attention to the smallest detail was fantastic. Will certainly stay here again if I'm in the area. Well Done!"

"Business/CPD trip. Everything i needed was on the premises. Staff on friday night were very busy, but always attend to your needs. Cottage was squeaky clean. Thank you sooo much! Lively and vibrant Pub (nice to see it so busy ☺️). Dinner and breakfast absolutely delicious. Service outstanding. Hope at some Point (er) 🐾🤩 i will have to come back. Thank you all the staff."

"Not a hotel and not a hostel but very good value. Staff were lovely. Beds a bit hard for me. Luckily took my own pillow. Breakfast good. Bar doesn’t open until 17:30. Shop just outside for anything that you need. Room spotless. If I’m in the area I will stay again."

"The snacks in the reception are ALL high in sugar. To use the hairdryer it needs to be pressed down at all times which is very frustrating. A simple on and off switch much more practical and makes it easier to use for people with joint issues. Shampoo is kindly supplied maybe it would be possible to supply a little conditioner!? The staff is super friendly and helpful 🌼🌼"

"A nice hotel tucked out of the way but close enough to get back to main shopping areas etc. Bougie style of decor and which my gf liked, room was spacious with garden view, was clean and cosy, we had dinner at the embassy restaurant, choosing the Indian food which was pretty good, the thali was a authentic way to serve the food and in all the food was good. Breakfast next day was the usual full English affair which again was good, hotel bar and was fully stocked and even had happy hour on...

"Our stay at the Lion was excellent. The only complaint was that the door to our room wouldn't lock, but other than that everything was great. I would definitely stay there again. Great location for shopping at Bicester Village and a short drive to Bleinheim Palace. "

"The hotel is like an ex council block, not very visually appealing but has a nice reception area once inside. We were overcharged by £100 and the manager says it was for dinner that we never had. We were never told about dinner and dinner was definitely not booked for us. We were told that we had a premium room with extra space; all I can say is I would hate to think what it would have been in a normal sized room, they must have been tiny.
