"It was perfect for us. It had the kitchen we wanted so we could do up some meals for new parents kids. Enjoyed the balcony for morning coffee and breakfast. "

"Lakeview was absolutely stunning, no matter what time of the day it was spectacular! Kitchen was stocked with essentials and there was even spices and seasonings as well as condiments in the fridge for use, which came in very handy! Absolutely loved this place and would definitely recommend! "

"It was amazing, we had everything we needed and location was perfect. Very nice setup, comfortable and clean. The best part was they allowed dogs and even had pooper scoopers which was a plus. Check-in was flawless, we enjoyed the marina as they had music on Friday and Saturday nights, they had games, fans in each of the rooms, TV set up, everything was great. We didnt have life jackets available so we did not use they kayaks so if you want to use those maybe bring your own. Host had notes...

"We had a family of 11, ages 7 to 70, stay here for the weekend. We had a great time. Outdoor space was amazing for the perfect temperatures we had. We sat on the top deck a lot and enjoyed the views, fished, grilled, and played games. Only issue was the internet. Couldn't get it to connect which was probably only temporary and I'm sure is pretty common on the lake but no big deal. Host was great and very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again. "We had an amazing stay at Pleasant Place Getaway. Two of my lifelong friends and I had a 3 day stay, and we all hated to leave. The location was perfect, close to shopping, but totally private in a rural location. There are plenty places to shop even when it’s not First Monday. Kerry was an excellent host. The house was so clean and the beds were comfortable. We each had our own room, and the two baths were very nice. Would definitely stay there again. Sue C. "

"We had a wonderful time celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday with family. The house was very accommodating. Plenty of space for our group of 20. Despite getting rain the first two nights and the temps dipping into the 70s, we had a great time. Wish we had been able to enjoy the pool a little more but by the third day of rain the water was a bit chilly. The kitchen was well stocked as were the restrooms. "We had a great time at the property! We enjoyed cooking on the grill, making smores in the firepit, and eating dinner on the porch with a view of the lake ahead of us! The lake was just a short walk down a trail, but the catfish were biting (I caught 25 in all) and it was super peaceful. Our hosts communicated with us throughout the stay, and it was a great stay overall! We'll definitely be back"
