"The room was spacious and clean, the beds were very comfortable. The shower had grab handles which made it easy and safe to use. The hotel location was convenient and had plenty of parking. Highly recommend."

"Alpine Meadows is a unique rustic lodge in a beautiful mountain setting. The drive up to the lodge 4K up a private mountain gravel road. Upon entering the lodge you are asked to remove your outdoor shoes to preserve the original wood floors. A variety of slippers are provided. We were greeted by Lisa who gave us a tour of the lodge and gave us some history. The lodge is not air conditioned and could get very warm in the summer months. "When we arrived there was a street crew in front of the entry. There was no direction on how to get into the property. Our room was clean. We were basically the only people renting a room. We have stayed here many times in the past and nothing has really changed. We really like the location."

"Love this place! Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, beautiful unique room, incredible view of the mountain, gorgeous common areas and everything you could possibly need. The room is compact, but very comfortable. We did miss having a small area to sit and work, but the common areas can be used for that purpose. Walls are thin so perhaps bring some earplugs. Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!"

"Cool little hotel along the river in Golden. Right in the heart of downtown with several places to eat within steps of the hotel. Rooms all face the river and boardwalk which is nice. Self check-in is handy as room keys are in lockboxes on your door (they send you a code for the lockbox). I will stay here every time from now on. Room was spacious and recently renovated. Nice bathroom, a real working bar fridge. Patio for each room. Cool place and a little gem."

"Super clean, really nice room. We weren’t sure about the hot tub. It was self check in so no one to ask about it. It was covered behind a gate. Not a big deal but would be nice if there was a sign to let us know if we could use it."
