"Had an amazing experience. Right by the Des Moines river. Owners are terrific. Nice quiet area to go and stay to get away from the busy and loud everyday life. Beds were very comfortable to sleep in. My kids loved every minute of our stay and want to go back. 10/10 for my family!"

"This is our second year coming to this location. We really enjoyed these cabins compared to the larger cabins because we all were in one area and was easier to communicate and reconnect. Went when it was extremely hot and had a heat advisory, but the AC worked fine and had the pool pretty much to ourselves. Have no issue ever with these locations."

"This apartment was perfect for us. The location was great, within walking distance to the downtown area and the Ft Madison riverfront park area. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a creative prison theme that gave it a unique charm. It met all our needs and even had thoughtful extras like a sleeping mask, which was a nice touch. Having a personal parking spot made things super convenient. Highly recommend for a cozy and hassle-free stay."

"Nice get away"

"My son and I stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin. It was clean and nice. We were lucky to have the whole resort to ourselves, besides some road workers who came after their shift was done. We had the heated salt water pool to ourselves and it was incredible. So relaxing. Their shower and changing rooms were meticulously clean and I hope people renting cabins and using this resort help to keep it clean and tidy. There are a lot of gnats here so bring something to keep them at bay if your sitting...
