"This cottage was a great place to have a quiet retreat. Close drive to both smaller and larger area towns. Beautiful country road drives and close to the interstate if desired. All immenties I required for cooking were onsite. Ferne was a great host. Showed us around and answered questions upon arrival. She has created a large binder that provides all kinds of information about the surrounding areas. Front porch views from the swing were relaxing. Would definitely recommend if you want to get...

"Lisa's house provided a much needed respite for my family of 4 on our way up the east coast. For us it was all about the location! The house is just several minutes off of 81, yet feels like a true escape. Zero road noise. The house is nestled amidst fields of horses. We counted at least 30! It was amazing to look out the front window and watch them graze, run and chase each other! If we had time, we could have interacted with the chickens, goats, cats and dogs. We really enjoyed walking on the...

"The inside of the cabin is magical with all the fairy lights! The kitchen is organized and well stocked with like new everything! A rare find in my experience and greatly appreciated! We spent lots of time in the wonderful deck where we saw eagles and hummingbirds and all kinds of wonderful critters! The campfire area with chairs just inside the basement door was great! We think some of the beds could use an upgrade especially if more adults are staying. The linens and blankets are top...
