"A massive thank you to Albert and his family for having us stay on their property this weekend. We were incredibly grateful for their extra efforts—fresh bread and homemade cakes to celebrate our anniversary were such a thoughtful touch. It was a joy to watch their daughter with her horses and to see the beautiful Highland cows. The tent was perfect upon arrival, and overall, we’d give Albert a 10/10 for his hospitality and care. Thank you again! We will be back!"

" A lovely cottage with so much style and history. Looks great in photos but even better in real life. It was so nice to stay in a freshly restored cottage but definitely not a cookie cutter decor. I also loved the town. I enjoyed a hot chocolate at Karkoo and great meal at the Oakbank hotel all within walking distance. Definitely recommend"

"The house was great and description accurate, some areas in the main tv room were a little dusty and the kitchen appliances could have done with a wipe over but apart from that all ok. "

"Four friends on a mums' weekend away - we had a lovely weekend at this beautiful home in Lobethal! Everything felt new, high quality and pristine. Comfy beds with gorgeous bedlinen. Fluffy towels. Ducted heating kept us warm. Outdoor space and seating would be enjoyable in warmer weather, but it was lovely to look out at the gardens through the big windows in the kitchen and dining.
