"Very good value for money, nice bar area, great location next to the beach, unfortunately heating broke down but that was beyond their control, they should have offered a free drink or similar. Would stay again, I was in an en-suite room which was good value, I was on my own but room could sleep 3. Would stay again "

"While it is nice that the hotel is right by the beach and there is wifi at the hotel, the hotel lobby and common rooms were messy and not very clean. The TV didn't work well most of the time, there is no elevator, so wheelchair access is poor. The room was not cleaned during our stay, so the rubbish piled up. "The staff was friendly and polite. Our double room was small and clean. However, the bed (room 29) was the most uncomfortable we've ever slept in. It was very soft and we could feel the springs sticking into us. We ended trying to sleep on top of the duvet. We would have asked to be moved but had travelled all day to get to Newquay and were exhausted. When reporting this to Reception the next morning we were told that all the mattresses were new!"

"We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. Overall disappointed with the stay and feel it should be closed during renovations. The resort could be amazing but needs a lot of repairs. For what was a basic room...

"Amazing views, very lovely staff, easy parking, very clean and comfortably spacious rooms. Only thing to note is that if the bar / restaurant is open and music on, and it's summer and you have windows open, it can get a bit noisy on the top floor. We stayed Friday and sat night so that might also make a difference. Parents were in room on cliffside below the restaurant and was much quieter there. Five stars easily even with this!"

"Clean, nice room for a single person. My private bathroom was Cosy. The staff's were above and beyond the call of duty. They worked hard to maitain good standards. Everyone was happy with their stay that i saw. Wish I'd gone to the bar there looked fantastic the morning after a party look. I missed it. Would definitely stay again. Want a double room next time. All the rooms have private bathrooms, this is not a back packers hostel, they are families rooms."
